we didn't deserve to lose that, I think if we had an actual manager they make the changes needed at 1-0 to see the game out, we were running on empty Spurs had made all 5 subs
Think Spurs are underdogs for the final anyway (as I said on a previous page) but great opportunity and great occasion for the fans too. I'll be looking to get a ticket. Still a few minutes left but looks like the final will be against United who also have never won the FA Cup. Emma Hayes farewell tour looks to be ending miserably and potentially trophyless.
Manchester United v Spurs it is. Not the biggest underdog story given the size of the respective clubs but we're going to see a team win the FA Cup for the first time. Hopefully Spurs.
if our game vs Spurs was at a neutral venue I think we win that, unless you are having 2 legs giving a side home advantage is a disgrace
A lot of tickets were sold (I'm not sure when but before the semi finals) to the general public and those have sold out already. So it won't be half empty but it'll largely be filled by people who wanted to watch top women's football (a cup final) and booked well in advance without knowing who'd be in the final. Unfortunately they seemingly didn't leave a decent allocation for the two finalists so there'll be a lot of Tottenham and Manchester United supporters that will miss out. 24,000 between them is a pretty miserable split in a 90,000 seater stadium. I'm sure there's a decent number kept back for corporates / sponsors too but it's disappointing.
All of our women's season ticket holders will get a ticket so they're sorted. Nobody else can grumble too much about missing out but the general population allocation is probably too high if the clubs are only getting 12,000 each. The capacity was only 75,000 last year so I'm hoping the FA have perhaps underestimated demand and might sell some at a later date. That seems unlikely though.
There are so many scammers out there selling tickets for the FA Cup final but I might have nabbed two tickets. Wish me luck!
