Yeah little harsh on the team, not as though we had all the regulars playing. Just heard 44 caps in the starting 11. Imagine a club playing 44 appearances in a league game, should imagine they would struggle. The golden generation is all but over with most having quit the team so was always going to be a big job for Page to replace them. Having been spoilt in recent times I suppose we have forgotten what it was like when we were awful under Bobby Gould.
With us the result itself isn't really all that, pretty much the entire team just won't feature much for us. It's a bit of a daft decision from Page to play that team when under so much pressure, and it's still a really poor results from the team that got put out.
