City have announced Season Ticket prices for next season. Bog standard adult early bird price is £299. We're no longer giving them away in a pack of crisps. £100 combined increase over the last two seasons. https://x.com/officialbantams/status/1901702575100997656?t=Zy_mt9bixJ1O6Bn-j4A5Lw&s=19 How do these compare versus other clubs these days? Pretty sure we'll still sell roughly the same as we do now, more if we confirm promotion before the end of season. We might finally be able to turn attendance figures into a financial advantage at this level. Two decades of building the fanbase with cheap tickets may finally pay off.
Yours are still cheaper in comparison I reckon. The lowest at ours is £375 for the North stand (old away end) for a renewing adult in the early bird period. Just paid for mine yesterday. £475 for me and £150 for my 14yo lad, which is the more expensive part of the ground.
Oh yeah, we're definitely the cheaper end. But it's no longer outrageously cheap. This time two years ago they were £199.
Seen 500 had gone in the first day which is pretty good going. Will be renewing mine in the south stand next couple of weeks, £390 I think it is.
Ours aren't cheap but we have a stadium debt to repay. Last season mine was £395. This season it's £435. I'd expect it to go up another £30-£40. We do get the opportunity to pay in 9 installments at no extra cost. Roll on 2029 when I get a pensioners discount.
Given what we dish up at Blundell Park most weeks I think even £100 for a season ticket here would be a rip off.
£335 for an early bird at vale. It’ll be interesting what/ if any impact the sky kick off roulette will have on season ticket sales.
We announced ours last week and have sold 1,500 so far. We have 3,600 STH this season, so will be interesting to see where we bottom out after the worst season we have ever had. They have obviously tried to counter that with substantially reduced pricing. We used to get 5,000-6,000 on the regular in L1, so it has already dropped off a fair bit, as with our general home attendances.
We have just ditched this model after about 9 years of cheaper season tickets, it’s boosted our attendances no doubt about that but clearly the club think they have to put them up, mine has gone up by £170. Hopefully we go up but could see Bradford with bigger crowds than us next season if they go up and we stay down, their kids prices are great.
It'd only work at certain clubs. You need the latent population as a base nd a ground big enough to take the additional numbers. But we've done it for two decades and now increasing prices from £199 two years ago to £299 this year with limited impact on uptake. MK could in theory be ripe for the same idea as us and I reckon Carlisle could do it too.
Please stay down. It's been nearly 20 years since we've had a meaningful derby game against you lot or Leeds. Assuming we manage to go up. The manufactured 'rivalries' with Rotherham/Carlisle/Bolton/Insert club based on things going on at the time just don't cut it.
Will miss our legendary rivalry with Harrogate tbh. Love visiting their ground and gasping in awe at the mural of them beating us. Art.
Couldn't bring myself to write their name as a rivalry. No disrespect intended to the Betty's Tea Room boys though.
Why would you say that? We are mid table for home results this season. How much did you pay for your season ticket this season?
Why would I say that? Because we regularly serve up shite at home in a lot of the games that I’ve been to. And my season ticket cost me £0.
Maybe you should stay at home then because we ain’t that bad in most people’s view. We will be heading into April with a reasonable chance of finishing in the top 7. That to most logical people is one hell of an improvement and largely unexpected
