Does anywhere in Europe have the weekly “Bundesliga Goal Arena” show? It’s the “whip around” coverage of the 4 or 5 matches starting at Saturday 2:30 PM local time. It’s all English-accented announcers so I’ve been guessing that it’s UK-produced, UK-available, and licensed to ESPN+ for viewing in USA. Similar “whip around” coverage thing for the Saturday multi-game time slot for the EPL, called “Goal Rush” on Peacock streamer here. English announcers. (Overlapped with the German show by a half hour last season.). Is that just for USA viewers?
It's just for US viewers as far as I'm aware; it falls within the UK blackout period so wouldn't be shown here. We have Final Score and Soccer Saturday that goes around the grounds to reporters as things happen but can't show the action live due to the blackout. They cover down to the National League as well as Scottish football.
I’ll pay attention to both shows on Saturday; it might be American accents doing the segues when switching matches. (And that often involves showing a goal scored a few minutes ago, winding the game tape back.) In which case it is USA-produced; that works because these USA streamers have purchased the rights to broadcast all the matches, too. (And you can select the individual match you want, too. (These whip-around options are just extra choices.) They replicate, for EPL and Bundesliga, the extremely popular “NFL Red Zone” offering of Sunday afternoon for the pro gridiron game. Another reason it would make sense for these other shows being USA-produced.
Josh Knight has left Hannover 96 for Portsmouth for around £1m or €1m , good luck to him , I've deleted my Bundesliga 2 from my Flashscore & it's now just Bundesliga 1 for the mighty Gladbach & with a heavy heart I say this , St Pauli to see if Rikki Jade-Jones ever gets a game for the 1st team .
Does anyone have any Old Business to discuss? Indeed. There’s a Wikipedia article on Milwaukee breweries, a ton of German influence as I’ve already noted. They got an upper hand on greater national beer supply when Chicago’s breweries were destroyed in the Great Fire of 1871. (NOTE: their MLS franchise is the “Chicago Fire” thanks to Mrs O’Leary’s cow that started the conflagration.) So…what does ‘ELV’ mean, or signify? Is it an acronym? Surely it does not refer to the Panda Bear, apparently named Paul, who I saw during pre-game 90 minutes ago on TV, that is Elversberg’s real mascot. I must apologize for complaining last May that no Elversberg supporters dressed up in elf costumes in that big promotion match they lost. (But I will complain that none came in panda suits. ). They have 30 minutes now to hold onto their 1-0 lead over Kaiserslautern.
Football lesson for Leipzig in the 1st half. Jesus Christ 0-3 2xOlise, 1xDiaz. And they were even lucky not to get 5. I think I can spare myself to watch the 2nd half. Leipzig are shit! No clue, doesn't make sense to me tbh. ELV are the first 3 letters of Elversberg but why the German female article? ("Die SVE" would make more sense, imo) **************** btw: 2.Bundesliga Friday results: SV Elversberg vs 1.FC Kaiserslautern 2-1 Preußen Münster vs 1.FC Nürnberg 2-1 So the 4th loss in a row ( 3 in the league, 1 in the cup) for promotion candidate Nürnberg. Hard times for Coach Miro Klose.
Who's the challenger this year then? Kind of expecting Leverkusen to be weaker with their player and manager departure. Leipzig have failed the first test tonight. Hopefully somebody gives Bayern some challenge.
He looks good tbh, but the best we have from the prem (apart from Kane obviously), is Olise, he is superb.
OK, I watched the 2nd half, too. But my verdict still stands. Leipzig are shit and dumb. Did you see what Lukeba did with the freekick? (that's why Leipzig's (then) goal for the 4-1 was anulled then by VAR, the Ref. didn't realize it at first). What an idiot. Even kids at 8 know how to do it Impressive. You could see how much the Bayern fans love him when he was substituted. btw: Who are Hostien Kiel? and Stuttgard. I know only Asgard
Yup. One of the rare moments I'm happy Bayern score is when Olise dispatches those chances so clinically. The future doesn't look too good for our NT but with Olise we at least have one big game player who can score goals against the very best. Terrific prospect. Give Bayern the title. No competition this season (as is usually the case). Bring on the relegation battle! In a more interesting league, crisis beckons for Nurnberg who lost their 3rd game and should finish the matchday bottom of the Zwei.
3,9% in the poll of kicker (in their Bundesliga Sonderheft 2025/26) voted for HSV (all HSV fans I think and I was one of them ) And he needed only 2 Full Bundesliga seasons (plus 1 game in his 3rd season) for it. How long did it take for him in the PL, 10, 11 seasons? Tbh I already fear Sept.13th when HSV is playing in the Allianz Arena (So far HSV is the only Bundesliga club against whom Harry hasn't scored yet....no wonder, he hasn't played against us yet )
In all seriousness, there can't be anyone. The only ones I can think of are BvB & B04 but no way will they offer this type of performance (unless...). Big shout for CL is Bayern (they usually are anyway).
