yes, watched it on TV. It was Paderborn vs Holstein Kiel. First goal already after 9 seconds . I like Holstein Kiel (although they won 3-0 at the Volkspark in our first 2nd Bundesliga match ever). They were phenomenal last season, when they played their first season in the 2nd Bundesliga for 30 years and immediately reached 3rd spot and a playoff against Wolfsburg which they lost, unfortunately. Actually they are again in the top half of the league although they lost their coach (to Köln) and several key players. btw: HSV tomorrow at Erzgebirge Aue, the 3rd club from the "Ostzone" (the eastern parts). We already won 1-0 at Dresden and 1-0 at Magdeburg. All good things come in threes? (or something like that)
So bayern munich drew 3-3 at home to dusseldorf today. Dode Ludebakio got a hattrick for Dusseldorf. Guess who hes on loan from! Us!!!
Paco is insane, he scored once again from the bench, it took him only two minutes to score the opening goal, and his team won 2-1 against Mainz. Didn't take long for Dortmund to sign him on a permanent deal. Wish Gotze was still as good as he was before he had that illness, he was a joy to watch back then. Eintracht are doing great as well. My man Jovic bossed again, and he is the joint-top goalscorer of the league with his teammate Haller (and Paco). The two of them and Croatia's Rebic are looking deadly in attack. Surely we are having a title race this time? Bayern are 9 points behind Dortmund now, surely they won't call Heynckes again? Third of the season has already passed, since Germans have 34 matchdays.
Great Deal so far for Dortmund. Now they signed him until 2023. That's one substitute, never seen this before The too early transfer to Bayern was the biggest mistake for him (not financially though). Jovic is a joy to watch and a very likeable player outside the playing field. Very humble not one of those young loudmouths you see so often. I am pretty sure that he's already watched by some big clubs from England or Spain I laughed out loud when I saw the Bayern match against #17 Düsseldorf. Bayern could've easily scored 5 or 6 but they didn't and Düsseldorf with no respect. It's so refreshing to see that. They just said in the German Sportschau that no one so far won the title who was 9 points back after 12 matchdays.
Just saw Piszczek's winning goal. Couldn't have hit that any better into the near top corner. Yeah he wasted his years in Bayern. Even though he came back, I still see him as a bit of a snake. Seems like Dortmund fans are far more forgiving. Interesting thing about Reus. He's already played more games this season than the entire 2017-18 campaign. Hopefully he will catch a break for this whole season, for his sake and because Dortmund will need him. And hopefully Bayern won't be breaking that tradition of failing to win the title from 9 points behind. How are HSV doing?
I think he played a couple of times last season but didn't do much - probably when we were playing rubbish. Lets hope he isn't just one of our typical signed but never seen players!
Lucien Favre and Marco Reus, that fits. Simple as that. Under Favre he became German International when playing for Gladbach. Fine! Although I am still angry about the sacking of our coach I have to say that our new coach has some luck. 4 games, 4 wins. Actually #1 in the 2nd Bundesliga (ok Köln is actually on #1 after their win today, same points and a better goal difference. But on Monday we could be back on #1 if we win (or draw) the top match against Union Berlin (actually #3) at the Volkspark
So Alcacer scored after coming off the bench. Shocking. Busy times ahead of Dortmund. Travelling to Gelsenkirchen to play Schalke in the derby next weekend, the last game before the break is at home against Monchengladbach, while the first game after the break is away to Leipzig. Got to take them very seriously if they manage to keep a similar distance between themselves and the rest after those games.
Paco Alcacer already matched Nils Petersen's Bundesliga record of 9 Goals from a substitute from the 2016/17 season. Frankfurt lost today 1-2 at home against ****ing Wolfsburg. Unbelievable!. And Gladbach lost 0-2 at Leipzig. So Dortmund actually 7 points clear at the top (still 9 points clear to Bayern). 2nd Buli: All 3 top teams won. Hamburg still #1, 1 point ahead of Köln. St.Pauli (#4) only 1-1 against Dresden, good!.
Very ordinary so far. Due to illness or injury he was only present for 8 of the 15 matches. He started only 4 times but hasn't played a full match yet. Always substituted after 60-70 minutes. In the last matches he came only as a substitute for the last minutes. No goals and 1 assist. Seems to harden a bit due to the more physical play in the 2nd Buli.
