I understand the risk. Crazy conditions there and a big game Sunday. Happy Acheampong + Rak-Sayki are playing. Particularly the former as he genuinely has a role here if he does well.
I don't get that. Even in yere form a champions league win wouldn't be out of the question, because many average teams have won that before. Not many great teams in Europe to worry about now.And I'm sure yere form will improve, so definitely a chance of winning it especially with a favourable draw. Ye more than likely aren't winning the league but should have enough to get top 4. Would you say the same about the fa cup?
Well least Chelsea can fly back with 3 points and some jet lag. Conference league only has 6 rounds I think so Shamrock are assured of a play-off place at least probably. Hearts might need a result in their last game.
Hearts end the league phase with one of the easier fixtures so hopefully they'll get what they need to go through. A point might be enough but obviously a win would guarantee them a place in the playoff round. TNS have to win and hope a lot of other results go their way, it's unlikely but six points would probably still result in a decent European campaign for them having qualified for the first time. Chelsea comfortable and Shamrock with another good result, Shamrock will probably be hoping for a really weakened Chelsea team in the final game to give themselves a chance of finishing in that top 8. Realistically Shamrock will have a playoff game to come.
Hearts out totally after only drawing tonight . It'll be Real Betis, Heidenheim, Gent or Copenhagen for Chelsea in the last 16.
Painful for Hearts, finished 25th on level points and GD with the team above them. They really should have been beating that opponent last night though so only themselves to blame for going out in the manner they have. I didn't see the other results last night but I've just seen Larne beat Gent too. Good for them, they were already out but they avoided ending the competition pointless and got a bit of a scalp in the process too. Shame for Shamrock that they've finished outside the top 8 on GD after a hammering away at the best team in the competition. They've had a good campaign so hopefully get a good draw in the next round.
