Woking resorting to the "played for Aldershot" recruitment strategy I see Unfortunately I see it ending badly for us on Boxing Day with Effiong and Harries in their lineup
That's a good signing for Woking. Not had a great season but knows where the goal is at this level. Would have taken him back at the Shots.
That “move closer to home” thing hasn’t worked out very well for him has it. Intriguing signing, not set the world alight at Braintree
Glad we've got Golding onboard, we needed a CB, he looks ideal. One strange thing though, Oxford recalled him from Maidenhead 14 days ago, with their manager saying he wanted a closer look at him, in that space of time they have let him out again. Maidenhead must be over the moon. we have him until Jan 25th. Wonder if we are trying before we buy? Normal signing on statements: “It’s a great opportunity for me and when I first heard about the interest, I knew straight away that I wanted to come here and play at Roots Hall in front of the fans.”
We played him as a holding midfielder, and even as an LB in one game. He was excellent wherever we put him, but it looks like Oxford want him played at CB
I didn’t go to MK but the reports seemed to suggest he was one of the better players on a poor night for the team. He then came off the bench on Saturday and scored his first league goal against an incredibly toss Tranmere team. All in all not a bad few days for him.
He is full of endeavour but his lack of goals was concerning. If he can improve his finishing he definitely has a future
Very good footballer just couldn’t hold down a position for us, too lightweight for centre Midfield and not good enough as a left sided wing/left back. Decent signing for a bottom 3rd NL side. We’re getting rid of a few now to make some space on the wage bill as we try to extend some of the loans we have.
Theve obviously realised how shite he is. Aint bad really but his head has completely gone. He went viral pre season for possibly the worst goalkeeping performance ive ever seen against (i think) chorley
Sounds like it could have been fun vs them Saturday (assuming he came in for cover for Mark Cousins who is presumably injured). Also notice Solihull have got another keeper in & Laurie Walker has been dropped to the bench (very similar to what happened to him with us last year when Keeley was brought in on loan from Spurs-yes the same guy that scored vs you last week!).
