We’ve signed Alex Gilliead on loan from Shrewsbury Played for Hughes at Bradford so makes sense and in a position see desperately need. Also played for us as a youngster on loan from Newcastle many years ago
You’d imagine there’s going to be a lot more movement in our league now the window is closed/closing and EFL stiffs are stuck unless they drop down.
He should be a decent signing he knows hughes system and knows the club. it still doesn’t sort the awful full backs and poor goalkeeping issues which will have to get sorted as the season progresses but as mentioned options will open up now as players didn’t get Efl moves and now need a club
Luamba is good as he has some pace and power. However Ajiboye hasn't really got going yet but he's not really started much.
I'm also delighted we've signed Gilliead as he's a kind of creative midfielder we needed. As for our full backs one thing to improve that would be to move Ellis back to right back. And as for our goalkeeper I think Harry Lewis may as well be given a chance to see if he's changed his attitude as some others have.
I actually rate Breeze. For a 21yr old keeper he’s doing just fine. Given he’s had truly awful teams playing in front of him, he’s done well I think. Some of the performances last season were unreal.
