Good win today for Spurs. The score line doesn’t matter as long as we win. I never felt like the result was in jeopardy.

Gray and Moore look great, they are ready for minutes in the league. Bergvall with another good performance, he looks as good as the hype around him says.

Funny how 3-3 ended up feeling like an OK result for United given the nature of it and the fact they dropped points to Twente. I already didn't think they would get top 8 but lose today and real doubts they'd get knockout - which is wild.

On paper if they come out the next game with at least a point then they should be fine.

Again though, he doesn't mention any of the others who took the piss out of Celtic, only me. None of the others are Rangers supporters because they took the piss.

    Rent free.

I think the schedule has been kind to us so far but nevertheless it's six points from the first six available. Job done as far as we're concerned.

I think we'll need to get a lot better to do anything serious in this competition. It concerns me how many chances we've given away to the likes of Qarabag and Ferencvaros though, I think we'll be punished more heavily against some of the better sides we'll come up against.

Overall there were probably more positives than negatives though. If you can go away in Europe and play a few youngsters and still come away with a win then you can't complain. Tottenham have had some really disappointing away results in Europe in recent years so I'll take this win all day long.

We're far from perfect but that's five wins on the bounce too.

:eeek What's going on at Spurs, Jason? Don't tell me they want to win a trophy? ;)

    ***********
As for the Bundesliga teams in the EL: 2 Wins (plus 1 in the ECL)

Hoffenheim vs Dynamo Kiew (German writing) 2-0

Besiktas Istanbul vs Eintracht Frankfurt 1-3

Great how Eintracht silenced the allegedly most enthusiastic fans in the so-called "loudest stadium". All I can say about those fans is that I don't like it when they're booing and whistling every action of the opponent. I've seen that already from the Turkish fans at the Euro 2024 in Germany where they showed the same behaviour.

Jesus Christ, it's ok to whistle sometimes but not every time even when the opponent has the ball at his own penalty area. No sportsmanlike behaviour and I'm glad they could be silenced soon by Eintracht (although Besiktas did play well overall).
After 0-3 many of those "fans" left the stadium early

Don't worry Dirk, we don't defend well enough to win a trophy.

It looks like we're doing our best to delay the usual misery until later in the season though :D

    Well and truly

It's over 12 hours since the match finished and I don't even know what the score was. Fanatical Rangers fan me :shrug

I bet those two know know the score. So does that make them bigger Rangers fans than me? ;)

It's funny how when they get beat you don't even know what the score was tbf. Proper Glory Hunter. I don't blame you, Sunderland are shite so might as well hope for some glory from the currant buns

7-1 is also the ratio of cheeseburgers to salad in Ange's diet this week.

So by your own logic, with us being top of our league, Celtic are shite too. For once we agree on something.

I don't think I've been to watch Spurs since Feb 2022 so a rare outing for me on Thursday night.

I think it's a good test for us, the first two games were against weaker opposition but we've still had testing moments in both games. It seems that Ange will rotate so it's going to be a good opportunity to see if our depth is up to it against improved opposition.

Anyway, I love the cups and love the European nights so it'll feel good to be going back. Fingers crossed we win and I get to witness my first win under big Ange. I've barely been to a game this side of Covid but still managed to see a Nuno and Conte win in the flesh.

Bodo/Glimt rule! What a way to finish at Braga. 7 points out of 9. (I’m pining for the fjords now.)
