No chance I'm doing a full table:

    Ipswich champions. Us second.

Play offs to be contested by Boro, Leicester, Norwich and Sheffield United. Brum/Wba to just miss out.

Wednesday, Hull and Swansea to go down.

Underachievers - Coventry and Wrexham (though latter only compared to media hype really)

    Overachievers - Skates and Millwall

Absolutely not. Main thing I've been looking forward to football wise since about December.

I won't be happy till they wall off Portsea Island and test chemical weapons on the people that live there to be honest.

Nah f*ck em mush, beat them home and away then they go out of business (again) never to be seen again. Fratton is sold off and turned into Tesco's & both of their fans try and set up a breakaway club that never gets out of the Wessex League

Most seemingly thinking we'll do well. Hope that's genuine and I haven't unintentionally psy-opped people into thinking it.

Someone’s gotta come bottom at the end of the day, and Oxford struggled last season with one of the lowest budgets in the league. Can def see Rowett do Rowett things again, but he isn’t infallible.

Not sure about predictions at this stage, but I expect Norwich and the relegated sides bar maybe Leicester to do well. Sheffield United to take one of the automatics. Gonna be difficult for Blackburn and Wednesday possibly given their off field difficulties, which is a shame for them as their squads in recent seasons have been alright

think we’ll finish 8th again, as we do nearly every season now

    Not really to both mate.

We didn't really struggle in terms of being in the bottom three, we were only there for five days of the season, just before Christmas, and spent most of the season lower mid table. Our budget was higher than you'd think and will be considerably higher next season, where we'll be building on top of a Championship squad, whereas last year we had to bring in 16 players pre-season, and then another four in January to replace a League One squad in one season.

Early bookies odds have Oxford at 150/1 whilst the second longest odds are Charlton at 100/1.

What sort of cash are you expecting to spend?

Is this question to both? Like Blind Date.

    Anyway …

    Genuinely, no idea.

Club and Jones are being very coy, which I really don’t mind. Fairly obvious we’ll have one of the smaller budgets but I also don’t think Jones would have signed a new long contract without some assurances or without a budget he feels he can work with especially after all the Cardiff noise.

Jim Rodwell was on Sky last week and said we expect at least 6 or 7 through the door, so we better get moving.

The only prediction I can offer so far is that mighty and massive Oxford United will finish top by a distance based on reading the forum

God forbid anyone who dares suggest they’ll struggle

    Not true.

But we won't finish in the relegation places either.

Not sure what thread to post it in but our squad and starting 11 is already looking quite different to what we finished last season with.

New number 1 expected if we can get what we want for O’Leary, Atkinson back after a very successful loan at Portsmouth (our best defender before his ACL), Randell signed from Plymouth, Stokes back after a very successful loan with Cambridge and think he fits Struber’s style perfectly, Mayulu back from Austria (our £3.5m signing last summer - few suggestions Struber might like to work with him) and Riis signed last night.

Still expecting a season of nothingness as I expect the league quality to improve, but a good chance we’ll be a better side with the level of coaching potentially increasing and a few players coming back into the side, coupled with new signings.

Just need to shift some of the fodder we have now.
