Video of some prick doing plane gestures. Clubs need to start acting to stamp this shit out. Need stadium bans to become the norm.

The only thing I know PPDA as is an intergovernmental acronym for police perpetuated domestic abuse. Pretty funny to keep track of that for footballers really.

Good to see the defences come out on top. Just the 53 shots in the game.

I honestly can't get arsed about this any more. After decades of Munich/Hillsborough/Shipman/Shankly bollocks I just ignore it, as @Machida correctly points out the 'Murderers' shite is invariably sung by at least 50% of the people around me, so why not prosecute all of them?

I can't do anything about the bellends who think this is clever out in the real world, so I just content myself with trying to stop it here on FF. :shrug

It isn't your job to stop it, it is for clubs to start banning offenders and educating their fans.

Sunday felt like the worst it had been in a while.

Field tilt is a different way of defining where the match is played. Basically, it's the percentage of touches the team has had in the final third. So if Manchester United has 200 and Liverpool has 100, it would be 66.67% for United and 33.33% for Liverpool. It doesn't really mean anything because a lot of teams are happy to give up the ball and play their game efficiently. You only need one touch in the final third to score a goal right? Take United's winner for example, 2 touches in the final third I think? It's probably a decent way to gauge control but control can sometimes appear false.

PPDA is passes per defensive action. To put it simple, how many passes you allow the opposition to make in their 3/5s of the pitch before you then engage them in a duel or intercept the ball. So the lower the PPDA, the more intense your press is. Again, you need context. A lot of factors can effect this stuff.....how deep the defensive side decide to sit, how direct the attacking side decide to be, how patient they are with their passing, whether they try to progress it via passing or carrying and so on. Ultimately, it also doesn't mean much for determining how a game went but you could use it to compare a team's performance to what they usually do.

    Needs to become the norm.

Three Arsenal fans get banning orders for tragedy chanting at Liverpool game
Arsenal have welcomed the three-year banning orders handed out to three of their fans who pleaded guilty to tragedy-related abuse during an FA Cup match against Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium on 7 January.

“We strongly condemn this abhorrent behaviour,” Arsenal said in a statement. “We have worked closely with the police to ensure swift action was taken and we welcome the football banning orders handed out. We have a zero-tolerance approach to tragedy chanting and will always ensure strong action is taken against those found guilty of such behaviour.”

Liverpool have repeatedly called for an end to chants about the Hillsborough tragedy at the 1989 FA Cup semi-final, which resulted in 97 Liverpool fans losing their lives after a crush in an overcrowded and fenced-in enclosure.
