    When we signed G-Mac from you he didn't come with the best of views from you're fans. Most of you laughed at us for signing him as a premiership player. As you all know he's been fantastic, and has performed one of the best partnerships out the big sides in with Olsson. One of the best defenders to play for us in the Prem. Only rate Olsson, Darren Moore and as you all know the fantastic Tommy Gardsoe above Mcauley.

    Personally I laughed at McAuley going to West Brom as well since he was toilet when at Leicester, but well done for him doing well there.

    We all know players who have been average for their team and possibly previous teams who then perform well at a new team. The OP is also assuming that people have been following the progress of Gareth McAuley. Frankly, I couldn't give a toss about him as he's no longer at my club and have more important to concern ourselves with.
