    Hi guys,

Excited about the upcoming World Cup in Russia, I made a excel spreadsheet that automatically update group standings as results are filled in.

The idea was to use it for a competition with friends, however being quite satisfied with the final result, I thought I just as well could share it here for others to check out.

You'll find it attached as a zip file, I have also included a printscreen of it.

Any feedback would be appreciated :)

Personally, I am most interested in match 26 and 36 as I will be watching them live at the stadium in Kaliningrad.

    Br,
    Joachim

Nice spreadsheet. Works well, but just so Rafael doesnt get disappointed when the first goal hits the net and his spreadsheet does nothing.... The spreadsheet does not update itself when goals are scored. You have to manually enter the score for each game and then the tables etc update themselves.

    Many Thanks

Is this different from just logging on to BBC and looking at the results and standings?

Nice spreadsheet. One problem - if points are equal, then it works put position on GD and goals scored, rather than on head to head. So you spreadsheet may show the wrong team qualifying!
