Last round before international break again ? Need to get back to winning ways after 2 defeats on the trot. Molumby back in for me despite not being technically gifted. We have missed his energy and passion in the middle. Always In there faces and always due a booking and is very 'simple' with the ball. Tomorrow Sunderland v Leeds Saturday 12.30 Burnley v Preston Norwich v hull Portsmouth v Oxford 3pm Coventry v sheff wednesday Derby v qpr Plymouth v Blackburn Sheff utd v Luton Swansea v Stoke Watford v Middlesbrough West brom v milwall Sunday Bristol v Cardiff Lose and results go against us could drop out the top 6. Shows how tight it is at the top so far
We've quite a lot of injuries, looks like the break is coming at a decent time for us to regroup/recover. Would take a draw if offered.
Burnley don't look close to what they were under Kompany but they'll probably still get automatic promotion comfortably. Would take a point, no doubt, but I think we'll fall to a pretty routine defeat were we barely lay a glove on them. Talk that Osmajic will only be getting a 4 game ban which would be a bonus.
Good time to be playing us. Lots of injuries at the moment and not in full swing yet. Short turn around from Norwich on Tuesday so not feeling super confident for this one. Would probably take a point
Tough game, should be a good indication of where we're at. Would love us to keep our 100% home win record, but can see a score draw. How many Leeds fans are coming up @PlayAllTheWay @LUFCAndy? Shit day and kick-off time. Suppose some consolation is it's not a long trek so by the time the match finishes around 10pm the roads will be quiet.
Typical if Sunderland get autos, whenever a long-time club servant departs, they seem to get promoted right away. Graham Alexander (Burnley) and Paul McKenna (Forest). We're ****ing jinxed. How is Browne doing? I'd say we've definitely missed him in some games.
No idea on the number but we will have definitely sold the away end out. As you said though, shit kick off time so I can’t make it. One for the younger lot to have a good night out!
We have a terrible recent record at Coventry, in fact I can’t remember us getting a point never mind all Three at the Ricoh. Only 1 point (granted the last Match) away from Home this Season too. Coventry looked a decent side in the 4 games we played them last Season. The law of Averages says sooner or later we get something. So with all that in mind I expect a Comfortable Home Win. C’mon Danny and the Boys, prove me Wrong. UTO!!
Would love to see it (obviously) but think the teams tipped for autos will come on strong as the season progresses, but hopefully we'll at least get playoffs. Not sure about Browne, I know he was a sub against Derby. @Adz might be able to tell you more.
Browne has been good in the few games he’s played. He’s had a few niggles which has left him out of the squad but (Watford aside) Neil, Bellingham & Rigg in the middle seem the settled midfield trio for now so he’s had a few minutes off the bench last few games. You can tell how highly rated he was at PNE because he’s everywhere when he does play. Brings a calmness to the midfield. I’d love for him to be fit & firing soon but I’m sure he’ll get his chance. We have plenty of depth in midfield but he’ll play consistently soon I’m sure.
Derby away for us. Strange start to the season for us really. We had/have high hopes with how well we played since Jan. Signed players that sounded exciting but knew nothing about. This year, we have scored in every game but not kept a clean sheet. Last year, our defence was solid. We have a better GK this year as well so it's odd. We have battered teams as well, but ended up drawing or losing. Made numerous chances vs Hull, yet lost 3-1. Had 20 or so shots vs Plymouth, hit the woodwork 3 times, yet didn't win. On the flip side, played poorly and lucky to not lose vs Millwall. Pretty rubbish vs Sheff Utd yet managed to rescue being 2-0 down with 10 men. So I think that we are on the verge of clicking, but equally, can see the lack of wins continuing here against Derby. I am sure they have lost 3 on the bounce, so hopefully their confidence is down and we can capitalise. Though, id take a draw if offered now.
He clearly slipped and landed mouth first on Owen Beck's shoulder. Complete accident #Justice4Osmajic
Just a public display of affection. Should have been racist to someone and broke their legs instead for more leniency
