I have no idea who Juventus would be able to attract/afford, but as a replacement for Pirlo i'd see Xabi Alonso as perfect.

Final table did well with the number of points but would have liked a few more goals tbh. 2 losses in the division were on the last day to A.C Milan away and away at Fiorentina

    Thoughts for next season

Will be determined by the budget given by the board, Pirlo out along with a few strikers including Del Piero and Amauri will decrease the wage-bill but I have to be cautious over having more games next season due to the Champions League.

I want to continue using the 4-5-1 I think it is just a case of getting a better / more efficient striker for the role.

    Priorities: Striker / Creative Midfielder

I could be on the verge of the sack due to a takeover bid...

    WHAT.A.JOKE.

Took on the Under 23 England Olympic Team whilst awaiting my fate at Juventus.

Great first season for me. 2nd in the league thanks to mad good run in, Top 2 Players in player of the year and a Cup win to boot!

Beat Mervue 1-0 in the final.

Also Pablo Counago banged them in all season.

    Yup, had that today.

You've got to go into the game properties on Steam a Verify Game Files Cache or something like that and it should sort it out.

I had the same problem just now

Cheers Irish White that did the trick. Re-downloaded 2 files now it's working, touch wood.

    Season 2: "Under New Management"

Jimmy Russo, a London based businessman took over the club and took it upon himself to keep me in charge despite having inital plans to instate Lippi as the next coach of Juventus

    Transfer Budget ~ £31 million

    Signings

Losing Pirlo meant I needed some added quality, also because of the additional fixtures and competition in the Champions League

Wilshere on loan was a steal and the signing of Damiao is pretty self-explanatory

Munoz I'm hoping will develop into a great player and Sturridge I couldn't bare to see rot at Chelsea. (As a fan I had to bail him out)

Super Cup Final vs Inter Milan

I'm joint favourites with Inter for the title so a win there did my chances no harm. Worried last season was a fluke though!

Struggling tactically at the moment, what I did on Fm11 doesn't seem to work, so I'm a bit stumped.

Just got it yesterday and started a season with Counteh.

Brought in Pablo Counago and Quinton Fortune on freebies, Matthew Pearson on loan from Blackburn..

Counago and Nick Chadwick up front.

Came from behind to beat Barrow 2-1 first up...I'm struggling with tactics as well though. My one worry so far is that they've made the game too stat-heavy, especially for those who just enjoy the straight-up, picking a team and going playing the matches side of it. Not bad though.

It could also be that your antivirus is stopping it from loading - try disabling it and seeing if FM will run.

Havn't had access to the internet for the last few days, so couldn't play much.

Anyway, got sacked for sitting in 10th in my second season with City  It was only a month in too.

So I started again, first season, I'm at the end of January, currently top of the league by 2 points. Just got knocked out of the league cup semi final too.

Culmination of a ten game unbeaten run. Easy this.

P.S I'm shite at uploading this bollocks, so yeah, that's 6-0.

Finally got round to starting this, now played my first pre-season friendlies with Yeovil. Only signed the one player - Simon Mensing from Hamilton.

Drew 1-1 with St. Johnstone, beat Southend 4-1 and beat Havant 5-0. Pretty happy with that.

It's going well so far. Top of the league, knocked out Blackburn and Wigan in the League Cup and have played some good stuff.

I've bought in Jon Harley and Josh Wright whilst brining in Andros Townsend on loan. Currently have the joint best defence in the league as well.

I think a lot of people like the buying/selling players and tactics side of things, but find the media/player interaction side of things tiresome and repetitive. That wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the fact that massaging egos and keeping players in check became the key element of the game in the '11 version. Ignore it or get it wrong and your results would nosedive.

The need to do things I found tedious meant the game got ignored far more quickly than previous versions.

Having a go at the '12 demo made it clear that the bulk of the game was again about manager/player interaction, so I won't bother with the real version.

It's not exactly hard though is it? You've even got your assistant telling you what you should say now.

Some of you are making out like it's a psychology game. The introduction of tones has made player interaction easier than ever in my opinion.

My season's started well. Currently sitting 3rd after 12 games with 8 wins and a draw. Smashed AFC Wimbledon 4-0 in the JPT as well.
