Only played a couple of hours, but I'd agree with that so far. Game seems a bit more realistic in its results this year. For example Hearts vs the Old Firm in FM11 almost always = defeat, usually due to some FIFA style tactics were you completely dominate but still lose.

Opening game of the season against Rangers away, and just like in real life we got a 1-1 draw and it was fairly even, with us just edging it if anything.

So far, it's the best FM for 3-4 years.

Just got this yesterday and started with Aldershot Town. I have no transfer budget and the wages budget is already maxed out so I guess i've got to rely on loans really.

Started off unemployed, and after about 3 months of waiting, Havant and Waterlooville offered me the job. Bottom of the Conf South I thought it was going to be really difficult, but after 7 games I've won 6 and lost 1. Only moved up to about 19th because they were so far adrift when I took over.
Signed Pablo Counago, who's been pretty good, but star man must be Jamil Adam, who's pace and finishing has torn everyone apart.

Started my first game as usual with Celtic, the team is good enough to win the league without making major changes.

Got rid of the deadwood like - Samaras, loovens and Majstorovic along with fetching a couple million for Paddy McCourt.

Brought in Jamie Murphy from Motherwell for £1.2mil Scott Allan from Dundee Utd for £2mil.

There are good young players coming through so that will be me for transfers this season.

So far won all my pre season games except from a 3-2 loss to Middlesbourgh away.

Victor Wanyama looks like a quality player in the game so far and can play at CB and in the middle of Midfield.

    FM is £24.19 at Amazon.
    It's £24.99 on Impulse(where I got it from)
It's £19.99 in the Grimsby Town club shop
    £26.99 in PCWorld
    and it's £23.99 at base.com

These are probably the cheapest places around to get them, if anyone here is looking around to find them cheater than 30-40 quid.

I started as Arsenal, top of the league after 10 games.

Unfortunately, 1st January is looming which is the traditional date FM starts cheating. I fully expect to go 10 games without a win for absolutely no reason.

Luckily, I stole the game for free, stick that in your pipe you SI *****.

Pre-season with County, just won the BSP with 106 points. Having massive financial problems, can't afford to offer players deals, can't afford to turn my non-contract players into full-time, which leaves us vulnerable to clubs taking them for free..

Until, completely out of the blue, Stoke offer £980k for my reserve goalkeeper (18 years old, got a lot of potential but shite at the moment) I sell him, and suddenly all my non-contract players are full-time, I'm bringing in Arsenal and Villa loanees and signing Championship freebies.

There were stilll certain players who wouldn't accept full-time deals so I released all the deadwood and excess shite players, and I'm pretty much starting again with a squad. Hoping (by the start of my L2 season) to have two players for every position.

Manchester United........I do tend to venture down to watch Sligo Rovers now and again also
Had started with Luton but left it alone for a week and just couldn't get interested again when i loaded it there, despite Counago's 7 goals in 4 games, starting unemployed, sunday league footballer experience....we shall see who'll have me

Well it was a shit second half of the season for us.

The second half of the season ended P23 W8 D11 L4

We drew too many games and ended up slipping into the play-offs. I decided to not bring in anyone in the January window. This obviously proved to be a mistake as the squad tired out.

Beat Scunthorpe 1-0 and 3-1 over the two legs in the semis and beat Charlton 2-1 at Wembley.

    Promotion baby!!!

Tehoue was a star for the team, 33 goals in 56 games. Dean Cox was an assist machine.

The aim next season is to stay up.

Absolutely smashed League One in my first season and ended up with 107 points. Current squad before the second season:

finding this pretty easy to be honest

started as telford in BPC who were expected to be 19th, 30 games in i'm undefeated in all comps (even FA cup, but im playing tottenham next ) and i'm scoring about 5+ goals a game. signed a lot of great free players though to be fair, my team is way too good for BSP (enzo scorza has something crazy like 37 goals and 25 assists in 31 games)

i am worried about next season though, a lot of revamping to be done and most of my players are already signing elsewhere
