As good as he's been I think we have to put this one down to an error in judgement from the manager. There was no need to go to a back 3, Hanley never makes us more solid these days and Forsen's confidence is clearly shot.

Probably elements of looking to manage the load but that would have been a bad draw, let alone loss how a majority of the game went.

Looking on the bright side there were plenty of promising performances from the stand ins. Marcondes looking like he'll be a very important player over the next month.

Yeah, we probably shaded it but going down to 10 you’d take a point all day. Tough game at Preston on Wednesday now.

A mate is a Stokie so glad to see them beat Dorby
Watched the second half of our game v Cov. They’re a bogey side for us but it was worrying the amount of times their forwards could have scored only to be stopped by the post or the much criticized Seny Dieng.

Could have been more than 3, is it on Carrick? Well I don’t think changing the manager is the answer but a fresh face in the dugout might be worth a go, he’s got his brother and Jonny Woodgate who are very familiar…

Yep. Absolute joke that you can perform that badly in your job and face no repercussions.

Proper old school battling performance that. Can’t believe Cooper got man of the match. He and the rest of the defence were great today but DeNorre was phenomenal — wouldn’t surprise me if he stuck himself to the Burnley staff bus this evening, he was all over them from minute one. Burnley were very underwhelming and I dont expect Parker to last there.

About eighteen months ago, we could barely get a kick against Kompany's Burnley. Big change today, I don't think our keeper has had a serious save to make. Yet another clean sheet for us, unbelievable really.

Leeds at home under the lights up next, feels like a bit of a free hit but get the first goal and you never know.

Cracking day out at Boro, another ground checked off and another vital 3 points. Stopped over due to the railworks and ended up drinking til the early hours in some right dive. Suffering for it now.

Derby up next, if we can get a win then we just might have turned the corner.

Deepdale has never been a good ground for us. Aside from the 3-0 a couple of seasons back in our play-off push, I can’t remember when we won there.

Some right dive? Just Middlesbrough then? :D :hooked

Great win up at Preston, bossed them about after they equalised. Three great goals, 8 unbeaten, I'm the most optimistic I've been about City in a long while :drink:

We have Boro tomorrow night. We have played Burnley away and then Sunderland at home and got two nil nils, which is good for us. Sunderland went to 10 men so we had a chance to do better there but we are lacking a bit going forward.

We have Boro and then Leeds away so we are in a really tough 4 match run. If we can get a point, ill be happy. We are unbeaten in 3, but they were all draws. Need to start picking up wins, especially at home. I think Boro are a bit hit and miss this year, so hopefully we can sneak a win but I wouldn't bet on it.

In 3 weeks or so time I'll be getting back from Watford at about 3am with a hangover starting to kick in and if we've lost that game then he'll have to go, no matter how well he's turned it around recently
