I thought he just straight up missed the Mclean on Gnonto thing, same as the handball from your player. If he has seen the Gnonto one he probably thinks Gnonto is trying to over sell.

Bit of a must win tonight for Pelach or else all hell could break loose. Feels like there's a lot riding on tonight's game against Portsmouth.

Our poor form continues as does Edward’s stubbornness to continue with a formation that the players aren’t comfortable with. Our midfield was again non existent and allowed the opposition to dictate play. I thought we played better with 10 men than eleven which says it all. Impressed by Oxford who were up for it and will count themselves unfortunate not to have got all three points. Rob Edward’s post match interview was identical to the previous ones after similar poor performances. I suspect he’ll continue with his ideas as he’s looking to further his career. The fans however are losing patience in increasing numbers.

The first two games were absolutely awful, as bad as it gets basically. He's been trying to get us to play like Man City with passing out from the back and the goalkeeper, but with defenders and midfielders who have absolutely no technical ability at all. The result has been predictably dreadful. Like what Southampton are trying and failing to do in the Premier League but with even worse players and even more comically bad results. All the opposition have to do is let us have the ball and wait for us to make a mistake.

And obviously against a backdrop of Schumacher unexpectedly getting sacked, which a majority of the fans disagree with, and his complete lack of any track record to give people something to cling to and show us that he knows what he's doing - it's fair to say he's under a fair bit of pressure already. The fundamental question of why on earth he can look at our squad of players with their respective abilities and limitations and think that's the best way to play is obviously really troubling us. It's not just a lack of practice and needing time, our players are simply fundamentally not good enough to play that way and will never be any good at it no matter how hard we try and how much practice they put in. And the worry is that if the manager can't see that and continues to stick doggedly to what he's been trying to do so far it's all going to unravel and become untenable very quickly because we'll basically lose every game.

So yeah, big night tonight. Another poor defeat with us passing backwards and sideways before giving the ball away in our own half again and it could get very ugly tonight. And not just towards Pelach, by extension Walters will also be responsible.

I was about to ask how Cannon was doing, 4 goals

We’ll be bringing him back in January.

You’ve certainly given @FranniesTache something to smile about ;)

Good at home but rubbish on the road seems to be the order of the game .

Not a good omen for Luton !

I've never seen a team score 3 goals against us and still think they're shit

First goal offside for them. And Baah and Bayo have missed absolute sitters. And we find ourselves 3 down.

Preston genuinely do not look that good we've just given them this game. Sunderland looks miles better and we beat them.

    This league is bizarre.

Baah scores that sitter early on we win this. Bayo scores at 2-0 down we draw. I genuinely think that.

Worse thing is no doubt people people saying Cleverley out now..

As if changing managers regularly has worked well before!

Obviously we do need to improve the away form and take our chances when they come as not sure the defence is as reliable on the road as for home games .

Wow. Just wow. Couldn't possibly have been any more different. Absolutely what the doctor ordered and hopefully buys him and the team some time to settle things down and pull the club out of the perma-crisis that we've been in over the last few years.

Watford looked shite despite them no doubt dishing out massive wages to most of their squad.

We've looked steady at home under Heckingbottom, wins against Watford and Luton, and I'm sure we would have beaten Blackburn had we not played 50+ minutes with ten men. A 1-1 draw and penalty win against Fulham at Deepdale too.

    Gotta love Osmajic.

    Not particularly now .

Most are youngsters or players maybe coming to the end of their careers .

Anyway doesn’t matter - you played better and deserved to win .

Osmajic wasn't offside when Kesler-Hayden squares it. Doesn't matter that he was off for the initial ball down the line.

The ball where he squared it is what I was referring to.

Anyway, I've calmed down now. **** football.

OK so what happened in ST4 last night? I saw Portsmouth hadn’t won yet so was convinced the SCFC charity bus was about to roll into town. I woke up this morning, saw the score, thought I was dreaming so went back to sleep  We scored 5 in a 13 minute spell either side of HT and had scored 6 after 53 minutes :eeek
I have seen the goals on YT. Pretty good goals to be fair. That looked a fair following from Portsmouth for a midweek game as well

:finger Can’t you at least see if we can put a little bit of a run together so we can possibly enjoy ourselves before putting the kiss of death on us?:laugh::laugh:
