Sadly yes but the views were great on the way back.

Definitely, waiting for a play station sale again.

Just found out yesterday that several months ago my sibling found a copy of Marvel vs Capcom at a car boot sale! This is the only arcade game I am aware of where I have held the highest score on a machine (both Sanford Airport in Florida and a Namco station at the Trafford Centre).

    *old fart alert*

Arcade games (the old 10p ones)
    Daley Thompsons Decathlon
    Tetris
    PacMan
    - 2 buttons and a joystick for all of these games

Sinclair Spectrum (not the Spectrum 48/128)
    Thunderbirds

    That's all

My first computer was a Sinclair. The ZX 81 with enourmous amount of RAM.....1KByte

Must've been 1980 if I remember it correctly.

@CazCat I see you bought The Witcher 3 and RDR2. Did you really ended the story of RDR2? Fantastic. I wished I could do that. But I always have my problems with ending Rockstar Games. The same I had with RDR (1) and the GTA series. I'm not made for it, seemingly. But kudos for ending RDR2!

But I ended The Witcher 3, of course (it's not from Rockstar. Maybe that's the reason ;) ).
One of the best RPG ever made, imo (beside The Elder Scrolls : Skyrim)

@TLC: Donkey Kong. Loved it back then when you had to go to arcade to play it.

I've still got a working Mega Drive with all of the Streets of Rage cartridges. Brilliant games. Had a nostalgic weekend a couple of years ago and completed all 3 with the missus. The first time she'd ever seen a Mega Drive but she loved it .

Wasn't so keen on my old Atari 7800 though. Just a bit too 80s and basic.

Daley Thompsons Decathlon was good, I had that on the C64. I didnt play much Tetris, but I always liked Columns, so I think I'd have liked that as well.

Only recollection I have of the C64 was playing some Terminator game at a friend‘s house.

I think I had that one as well. You had to load all the games from a cassette (same with Spectrum and Amstrad). It's a million miles away from today's standards, but I always look back on the C64 with fond memories.

Kinell. Remember nearly all of those. The double I remember battering along with Tracksuit Manager

Rambo, Matchday 2 and Kiickstart 2 were my earliest games.

Indeed, some of the best games I've played have been picked from purely looking at the box alone. I think now you know so much about it going in that it's either exactly what you expect or disappointing, rarely do I play a game now and it surprises me with how good it is.

If anyone ever played Theme Hospital, there's a game called Two Point Hospital which is pretty much Theme Hospital v2.0
