Agreed. People still seem to love him tho even if its just for an occaisional flash of genius. Personally I would prefer a battler than a flair player like him- a combination gives you a great player like Beckham or Bowyer. Ginola, Pires, McManaman etc are just bottlers!
Ginola produces the odd bit of magic or skill but he's not a grafter.Why Villa bought him especially at the age of 33 was beyond me and they payed too much for him as well.They should let him go and try and get some cash for him whilst they possibly still can.
the reason we signed him was 2 boost season ticket sales.he may be lazy but anyone who buys ginola knows exactly wot they are gettin a lack of graft and some touches of class
I agree that his best days are well over. He was brilliant in his day, even tho he wasa 'flair player', but all thats left of that now is someone who gets frustrated coz he's not as good as he used to be. U'll get the odd flash of brilliance but thats bout it, and the rest of the time he's overweight and overpaid.
