Yup that really did make me smile a 15 pointer for 1 game is a very rare and lovely thing and it is 50% of my points total if my old school counting on my fingers is right
It looked like we were going to have one of those rare weeks without a full house bonus this week until Hashtag55 pulled one out of the bag late on to claim a joint second high score of the week which moved him up to 16th in the table. It wasn't enough to secure the highest score of the week though as that feat was achieved by Vanni to cement their place in 3rd spot and to also close that gap on the top 2. We now have the answer to this and boy is the resurgence gaining momentum as Super_horns ends Borussia Teeth's 14 week reign at number 1 to become only our 3rd league leader of the season. Borussia Teeth slips to 2nd, which remains their lowest league position of the season so far whilst StretfordEnd is one of 3 other players to share the second highest score this week with Hashtag55 to remain in 4th spot. Interesting moves just behind the top 5 as well as reigning champion Cal_BCFC is slowly finding form as he also bags a joint second highest score of the week to rise to 5th place at the expense of Garrincha who slips down to 6th. I'm also finding some form as we gear up for the busy festive period and I am up a place to 8th this week as I leapfrog shudewill who slips to 9th whilst ForestRob remains in 8th place. TLC is our other joint second highest scorer of the week as she also rises 2 places in the table, moving up to 13th and closing that gap between her and TAFKAP who remains in 10th. At the wrong end of the table, it's another tough week for Red Tide and Lamby takes full advantage to further increase the gap between them but we see no changes in position in the bottom 5. Mini-League Series We reach the penultimate week of Season 3 and every group is nicely poised for a final week battle royale. Super_horns remains the leader of The Super League group but his lead is cut to just 5 points by Vanni who remains in 2nd place. TAFKAP remains their nearest rival in 3rd place but the top 2 now have a 9 point cushion over the rest heading into the final week. At the bottom shudewill's missed week appears to be condemning him to the drop but it's better news for StretfordEnd who is out of the bottom 2 and up to 4th creating a 6 point gap between him and the relegation zone. It's Garrincha who drops into the bottom 2 but they are just 1 point behind Borussia Teeth who is just on the right side of the safety line. No change at the top of The Premier Division group either as Cal_BCFC continues to lead the way with me occupying the other promotion place, 3 points behind Cal. There is an 8 point gap between us and the rest but ForestRob remains our closest threat to promotion as he maintains 3rd spot with TLC staying in 4th. At the bottom, both CFC91 and Hashtag55 are adrift but Hashtag's great week this week gives a little bit of hope of him completing the great escape next week. Daz_Blade remains our leader of The Pub Division group and his lead is now up to 7 points over Colinmorriswalksonwater who remains in 2nd place. dale4ever is the groups big mover, climbing up from 5th to 3rd and now just 6 points off gatecrashing the promotion party next week. Lamby and Vito Andolini remain in the bottom 2 but both will be eyeing a final week escape as we now only have 4 points separating the bottom 4. The players are in alphabetical order to give you a clue as to how far you have to scroll right to find your scores and it is still the same in that the league tables include the number of Full Houses (FH), Not To Scores (NTS) and Double Points Selections (DB) you've been successful with as well as your total points. I will use those 3 things (in this order) to determine the outcome of any ties Player of the Month: The month of fireworks is over and we head into the biggest month of the year and that means we have another POTM to hand out: 3rd - Vanni (146 Points) 2nd - Cal_BCFC (147 Points) *************************************************************** 1st - Super_horns (151 POINTS) *************************************************************** After finishing 2nd best in the October POTM, Super_horns goes one step further this month to be the best and with 2 superb months he finishes the month as our new league leader as well as our POTM. A superb effort August - @Borussia Teeth September - @Garrincha & @StretfordEnd October - @shudewill November - @Super_horns
We've had an incorrect points appeal lodged by @ForestRob and after a 12 person panel deliberated for 7 hours we have upheld his appeal. He'd amended his post yesterday morning and I never noticed (primarily because he didn't tell me but we will let that slide this time) and it turns out he made some very astute changes to garner some extra points than I had him down for. It means he holds his 7th place in the table (so my giddiness of being as high as 7th has ended) and also keeps his 3rd place in the middle group of the mini-league which means TLC hadn't gone above him. The table and the write up have been amended in my earlier post Indeed it is and that also means we now have 14 of the 22 players from this season having claimed a full house this season
It's an easy fix, mate, don't worry about it! *note to the rest of you, this is a response to a fellow Forest fan. Don't think I'll be so easy on the rest of you
