On that Sanoko lad we're interested in, I just read that when he played for the French u-16 team he scored 48 goals in 18 appearances..unbelievable. That's something like a 2.7 goal ratio in every game.

Lots of rumours about Vermaelen asking to leave. I don't blame him, he's gone from captain to bench warmer and he's not had the best season. That said, I would still like to keep him. There is a good defender in there somewhere and I reckon he'll come back to what he could be if we take the captaincy off him. (Much like Gallas, who's game did improve when we did the same thing) What I am laughing at is the price being mooted about. £6 million? There is not a chance we'll make a loss on him.
