The w@nkers at Exeter uni have given me a room with a faulty network connection so I cannot grace these pages still for up to a week. I am currently getting my nice neighbours to let me use their internet. Anyways, just wanted to tell you that I am still alive and feeling pretty good. Nice to see that the forum still exists. Might catch some of you on MSN in a week or so...
I am aware what age it supposedly is. I wasn't aware however that my money was being wasted so that feckless n'er do well spongers could surf the 'net for porn at my expense . . .
They have broadband connections in all Bournemouth Uni halls too, but I stayed in a shared house so didn't have one. Money in slot Kampso? It seems most Unis ask for a set amout to cover all bills including gas, electric and internet. Tax payers should be paying more, especially the rich feckers on £60K a year or more. Course fees should be scrapped, as should top-up fees. It's a disgrace, education should be free, and not just for the well off. I'm voting Lib Dems they're going to scrap top-up fees, and charge higher tax to the rich b*ggers on £100K a year.
Bloody hell, maarvellous innit??? They'll be wanting uni provided slappers in the rooms on a nightly basis soon too - for educational purposes only of course.
MightyMancs, you are doing yourself no favours. You were a much loved and respected mongtard/fcukwit/turdstead/gimp but a mere week ago... any more half sensible posts may seriously damage your reputation.
I get taxed quite enough at present and would resent having to pay anymore to support people who have chosen to educate themselves further.
Depends how much you earn though really mate. If you are on less than £60K a year then I don't think you should be asked to pay more tax. The thing is though, our country relies on these 'people who have chosen to educate themselves further', there is more to it than that. What about doctors, teachers, lawyers, and politicians. You almost always have to have higher education to get a job in one of those positions, and it shouldn't have to cost anything, it never used to.
Which I agree 100% on. All these jobs need specific courses and will all be of some benefit to the country in the future. The problem I see is that too many people are going to University these days rather than going out and trying to find work. IMO if university courses are to be free, entry levels have to be made more difficult and all the joke courses scrapped.
