With Hendries excellent form from the end of last season carrying over into this season i think Hendrie should be in front of carrick, butt and lampard for england and he could do a better job than mcmanaman on the left hand side.Hendrie seems to discovered the knack of scoring from midfield and after another top class display against liverpool he should be in the next squad.How do you's view his international chances?
i reckon he should be in the squad but not the first team! although he is left footed i think Kieron Dyer could fill that role superbly given a free role! He does give us an extra option tactically cos of his left foot!
Hendrie was definitley fantastic against Liverpool. A class display. His passing has been great and lets hope that goal against Liverpool starts a good tally for him this season. He has started really well this season and was brilliant against Manchester United aswell. I reckon that he should be in the squad but as backup to the central midfield. I agree with Wilky that Kieron Dyer should be given a chance at left midfield as i think that he could do a great job there with his pace and ability to beat players.
i dont think hendrie should start for england yet but should be in front of the players i mentioned.Hendrie is very comfortable on the left side of midfield but he is actually right footed but played most of his junior football in that position and started they for villa earlier on in his career.
