If a team has a clean bill of health & 12 others in the League haven't without fans & much logistics going on I don't see why if there's say a 3 day window you can't arrange a future match against another team with a clean bill of health staving off a possible fixture congestion !

Though that's common sense & the EFL would have to sanction it , never happen !!!

We moved into December with 9 points and 23rd needing some sort of miracle, we move out of the month with 24 points and the most in form team of the division in 16th.

Steve Cotterrill has worked miracles and will surely get manager of the month. Such a a shame I won’t be going to the Crewe game Saturday now.

So our game against Fleetwood on the 9th has now also been postponed after they’ve had a COVID outbreak. That is now 5 games we’ve had called off I believe.

Going to be a nightmare end of the season for some teams but of course health and safety comes first.

Only 1 game in a 4 week period for you then.

Posh have been busy rearranging their fixtures:

Peterborough United have rearranged four League One fixtures and now face seven games in 22 days in January and in February

We’ve got 3 games that need to be rescheduled, just hope the Southampton FA Cup game a week on Saturday is on as I’m not sure what’s going to happen if we don’t fulfill?

Few game will be called off due to the weather which is going to be another issue to deal with alongside COVID.

The fixture list is going to get very messy.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbank gone back as Burton manager.

I’d say a 3/4 week break is likely by the end of the month tbh and extend the season by a week to fit the fixtures in. Thing is it only seems to be a big problem in League One? Will Championship and League Two mirror us or just continue.

Think I’d be parting company with Lee Bowyer if I was the Charlton board. Not even challenging for the top 2 dropping points against sides like Shrewsbury and Swindon. No offence but nowhere near a club the size of Charlton. It’s pathetic a club of this size is in league 1.

You say that but considering how well we’ve done after that game surely not the worst point?

Don’t like the attitude of these ‘big’ clubs who think they’ve got a divine right to be promoted or beat the smaller clubs.

Fair. One thing I will say about you lot is at least you have a decent striker in Cummings. Charltons front line is embarrassing. Bogle and Washington. That wouldn’t even do bits in league 2. Charlton need to spend some serious money this month to improve that side because it is a total shambles. If I was Bowyer I’d give Plymouth a call and say how much for Jephcott? Pay it. Get a commanding centre back and creative centre mid signed up and should be alright. I’m only interested in Charlton because they are in my to be promoted bet this season.

That seems extremely harsh, Bowyer has worked miracles and has had to firefight for most of his tenure so far, he deserves some grace its his first rough patch really.

Not at all. When you are a club the size of Charlton in league one you are expected to get promoted especially having just come down. When the season started Charlton had the option to sign Clarke Harris for 1.2 million and said no. It is stupid things like that decision that will cost Bowyer in the end. This team is nowhere near good enough. No creativity and the strikers are awful. Washington and Bogle. Sign a proven goal scorer and things will start looking up. Bowyer is very negative with his tactics and subs late in games. It is his fault they are not top 2 right now not being able to see games out. Shrewsbury away 92nd minute equaliser, Swindon away 92nd minute equaliser. Failing to beat sides at home like Mk and Plymouth. It’s a joke. Bowyer is too soft. I would batter this lot if they made me look a c*nt like that.
