We have signed 27 year old central defender Anders Hagelskjaer from Danish club Molde for a rumoured fee of £500,000 which is our highest ever transfer fee,he looks a giant of a man just what we need.

Joel Randall signed a 3.5 yr deal with Bolton ( undisclosed ) but MacAnthony says we haven't lost or made anything so either £1m or £1.2m what we paid & then the add ons .

Good luck to him , anonymous for 2 years with his mental health issues , fantastic last season when Archie Collins was signed , went on strike this season & Boxing Day v Mansfield pulled out of a few 50/50 tackles & headers last straw with fans , Fergie & MacAnthony .

Highest earner off the books so a new CB & LB hopefully brought in now some FFP cap freed up .

A lot of rumours we are getting Dion Charles from Bolton so hopefully this transfer means it will happen.

Surely we won't announce 2 strikers?!

£3m on one player in the third tier??!? Absolutely absurd, anything you achieve will be immediately written off due to this terrible action etc etc……

we've recalled Amani Richards from Exeter, not sure they are too bothered given he wasn't making the bench

Done what we needed to do in this window. Now it’s time for it to be done on the field. Not sure what to make of the Dion transfer but he seemed to have an excellent season last year. Hopefully Duff can get him to reignite his form. Got a good front three for this level and Bojan as a 4th (last two games positive). Nice to know the owner is backing our manager for once.

Signed on loan 27 yr old CB Sam Hughes from Stockport until end of season .

Why's he not playing for Stockport ?

A bit underwhelming but if you've seen Fernandez , Wallin , Katongo or Nevett trying to defend in the league this season a corpse would be an upgrade , good luck to the lad , he's mates with Josh Knight who gave him the heads up about Posh .

We have signed another Dane 26 year old Magnus Westeraard from Viborg for a fee of around £900,000 which again has become our most expensive signing we've given him a 3 year contract, he's a midfielder which we needed after Bolton recalled Aaron Morley from his loan spell.

A question many of us up here have been asking. Supposed to have been a stalwart for Burton at this level yet he barely gets a look-in even with injuries elsewhere.

Your loss , our gain hopefully .

Fergie reckons we've tried to sign him before as well as this afternoon's other new signing 26 year old left back Tayo Edun end of season permanent deal from Charlton , was quality at Lincoln , all downhill since but still an upgrade on what we have but 5 month deal a bit weird .

Not 100% sure if true or just gossip but Jed Steer surplus to requirements , surprised if true , was out after a knee operation but miles better than Boomerang Boy Bilokapic who gifts teams goals most weeks .

Signing Hanley to give the rest of them a chance, I see.

He can’t be any worse than Sanderson. And he’s free and will be cover in case we get injuries at the back.

    Confirmed.

If Sanderson can run then he's probably better than Hanley these days.Did his achilles and was out for the best part of a year, not ideal at any age let alone 32/33. Short term thing though and presumably a good dressing room influence though.

Deal until the end of the season, good move for us, currently playing in three tournaments gives us some scope to rotate, plenty of experience and seems an all round good egg to have around the place.

For what it's worth, apparently it's been a really tumultuous six months for SH during his time here; not just dealing with injury but moving home, having a baby, family bereavement... just shows that off-field stuff can be a factor in how well a move works out for a player, it's not always ability or work ethic

Think this is more prevelant in football than is spoken about .

Fergie has stated he's burnt out after 30-36 months in management & needs a 6 month rest to recharge hence why he's left Posh on 2 of his 3 disapearances .

Joel Randall who we recently sold to Bolton moved from Devon to Peterborough as a 22 yr old , couldn't settle & felt isolated & visited dark places in his first 2 seasons here , improved when his mate Archie Collins signed & our No 2 GK Will Blackmore after recovering from surgery as a 21 yr old his Dad only early 40's died & he was in a bad place but as they say , times a good healer .

Apparently , Hughes was excellent today albeit Orient didn't offer too much .
