My mistake via the Charity match it's actually the Dobbins Robins v Ely FC for East England Air Ambulance dressed up in U's colours with the #endfootballviolence I saw on Anglia news they'd re opened the case , alas I can't see any of the 13/14 involved being prosecuted even if double jeopardy doesn't exist anymore hope I'm wrong , no one deserves to be wheelchair bound / bed ridden for going & supporting their local team .
It's not double jeopardy. They were never charged with murder. I agree that nothing is likely to happen but who knows. If they were guilty of assault and the assault resulted in murder............??
Pretty annoyed after yesterday. Exeter are decent on the counter attack and bust a gut to get 4 or 5 players joining in but Christ, the lack of effort from our players was embarrassing. Not sprinting back, not following the runners, dreadful. I get that a goal just before & just after half-time is demoralising but you don’t just give up ffs. Didn’t help that our manager wasn’t there. I hope he batters them next week.
Other than the disaster at orient we’ve only conceded two goals in the rest of the league games... and one was a penalty.. happy me.
A good win over a very cynical Harrogate team who were 2nd before kick off, and hadn't lost a game I was surprised it took 45 minutes for the red card as it could have happened well before that, and 123 away fans when you're 2nd and unbeaten is beyond poor
As it always does when losing a 2 goal lead right at the end, it feels like a loss atm. However in the grand scheme of things a point away to a tricky side isnt the end of the world. Still a bit disappointed though.
Not sure what you was expecting tbf. Most people who like football in Harrogate are Leeds fans. They're a Conference/Conference North club fanwise. Meanwhile, we're crap again
Jeez , with only 1 win in 19 Scunny find themselves in a relegation spot meaning they'll probably miss there big day out at Town Moor next season with Donny's demise & look forward to a day out to Cleethorpes Utd instead . #prayforscunny
3rd win on the bounce, and up to 4th place. Orient next week will be a test of our promotion ambitions.
We are a bit f*cked tbf but we threw away a 2-0 lead last week and there wasn’t much between us & Port Vale today (except a goal obvs). We have 0 creativity though & only score from set pieces. Awful to watch which is why we’re getting 2000 crowds.
Jeez , Grimsby are flying atm !!! How about The Pilgrims next season , sounds like similar attendances , ah well , fingers crossed for a rich Sheikh to sheikh his booty in the club , it really does sound like you could be the new Chesterfield or heavens forbid , Wrexham
Half our first team missing for FGR away next week due to international call ups and it can't be called off because it's on TV. Lol. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
Yeah does seem odd, local journo asked the question to the EFL and apparently it's a no. The good news is it's now only 4 and not 5 first teamers out. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
Turns out when we agreed to the game in August we agreed to the stipulation that it could not be postponed, at that point we only had Kesler-Hayden who'd likely get a call up. Since then we've signed Williams (Wales) and had 3 players get first time call ups - Grant (Jamaica), Wollacott (Ghana) and Gilbert, who hadn't even signed then (Rep Ireland). So we've kind of shot ourselves in the foot there. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
