Ironically he’s gone from a team whose most potent attacking threat is on loan at Swindon to another team whose most potent attacking threat is on loan at Swindon.

Huge win yesterday, though I think Derek Adams may be suffering from illusions of grandeur if he really thinks a home league game with Morecambe is "a cup final" for us.

Doesn't sound like Derek to be chatting bollocks.

Meanwhile, unsurprisingly there was no new manager bounce at VP. Going 1-0 down 20 seconds in didn't help but we were the better team to be fair. We just can't score goals and with Cook not firing this season it is pretty grim.

Notts County live on Sky this weekend. That could be a cricket score and a humiliation for everybody to tune in to. Can't wait.

    Hope you're enjoying it :hiding

In fairness the scoreline's harsh. You've played quite well but look vulnerable every time they attack.

Barrow are doing well again. Wonder if they can stay the course and stay up there? Bradford are doomed as @Super_horns says.

As daft as it may seem, given respective league positions, Barrow's last league defeat came against us as the start of last month. Certainly Pete Wild would be very high on my list of potential managers if he could be tempted away.

Accrington chairman is a bit of a knob, isn't he? Embarrassing himself a bit on twitter.

Well it was the embarrassment we all expected. Second half was actually good to watch but they had clearly given up.

Alexander said in his pre-match presser “It does aid us that I have managed against them this season. There is a bit of information that will be pertinent for us on Saturday."

Erm well why go 4-4-2 and allow them all the space in the world then?? And then change to 3-5-2 at HT and dominate the game. Very frustrating....

But all is forgotten as last night we trounced Barnsley 5-1 to win our shitcup group. Relegation and a Wembley trip, this season is going to be memorable.

David Artell now 1/4 favourite for our vacant manager's job. Odds starting to get to the point where it looks like something might just be happening.

Market now suspended and talk of an announcement tomorrow when, somewhat conveniently, a fans' forum is due to take place at Blundell Park. Would be interested in Crewe fans' takes on Artell as I'm genuinely not sure what to make of him if he is confirmed.

    We won a game :disco:disco:disco:disco:disco

The first half was awful and I was very tempted to leave at HT. Stuck it through though and we improved second half. Tyler Smith finding a bit of form which is a good sign. Accrington were awful though and that's twice we've beaten them now this season, how are they 7th?! We are somehow only 6 points behind them now.

Need to follow it up tonight at the second worst team in the country. Nothing less than a win will do....

Great to bounce back from the injury time loss against Crewe at the weekend. If we could just sort out our away form I’d be confident in us rising up the table

    Mo Faal - what a player @LordMegson

Booooooom an easy win at FGR and another point closer to the play offs. Shame we don’t play this weekend but a good rest before a big December period.

Jake Young meanwhile with another goal tonight. Rumours Peterborough want him in January and luckily he still has 18 months on his contract so we don’t have to sell too cheap. A couple of hundred grand will do. Cheers Swindon

Only Swindon could be 4-0 up in the 90th minute and need to clear one off the line at the death to hold on for the win…

You’ll have to pay half of that to us to break the season long loan deal.

my understanding is - it’s a season long loan. If you wish to break that agreement you will have to pay us a set fee.

same with MK Dons & Dan Kemp.

I can't see the fee being much to be honest. Whatever it is, it's worth paying. We either sell him and make some good money, or play him and 1) take the best player away from a PO rival and 2) improve our squad. No brainer.

    Yeah, definitely a no brainer.

Not our best player though - that’s Dan Kemp - also on loan from another team in this division (unfortunately for us) imagine being managed by the guy who didn’t want Dan Kemp in his team
