Right , I have no idea re the trains other than Crewe to London is just over 4 inches on my map whereas Peterborough to London is under 2 inches , that seems pretty far too me ;)

Congratulations to Crawley , reckon I'll put them in 1 of the 10 I watch with my Posh flexi ticket next season .

Yeah Crewe to London isn't bad at all, direct on the train about 1 hour and a half.

Really impressed with Crawley on the whole today, played some really good football and have picked up quite a few really good signings from obscurity who did well today.

Very happy with that one. Hopefully he’s more Owen Bailey than George Broadbent when it comes to signing players who were in the national league last year

We looked at him but he had some health issues apparently , whatever that meant .

McCann signed Ephron Mason-Clark when Fry & MacAnthony weren't sure & also Hector Kyprianou ( I think ) give Grant his do , he can spot a good player .

Sbarra has been one of the NL’s best performers for a good 2-3 seasons prior to this one just gone, when he spent most of it injured and/or ill. It’s a gamble on that basis, but he’s a great asset to have if he’s back to where he was previously.

New manager - Mark Kennedy. Seems like a reasonable appointment for a bottom half finishing L2 club, lots of talk of jobs for the boys etc, we'll see how it goes.

Oh and a new signing - Ollie Clarke from Mansfield

IMO just need another right back, goal keeper, another forward to hold up the ball and a quick winger and we're sorted.

Looking forward to next Saturday. Doncaster start the season in 11th place and chances are that will be the lowest place we will have this season. Fans expect us to carry on where we left off last season.

Yes goalkeeper Teddy Sharman-Lowe doesn't seem to be as good as Thimothee Lo-Tutala but we can only hope he comes good.

You better get promoted either automatically or the play offs & ex Scumbridge Joe Ironside also needs to be in top 4 goalscorers then this Posh fans wallet will be slightly fatter .

I’m feeling confident about top 7. We’ve addressed the majority of key areas this summer and Sharp will be a huge asset in league 2. I think we could’ve done with another centre back and the jury is out on our loan goalkeeper, but McGrath will hopefully feature a lot more at CB and if we get to January and he’s not been playing I could see us making a permanent move for Lo-Tutala

If that’s not a penalty then I don’t know what is.

Just seen replay and it’s stonewall . Should’ve guessed to have Cook down for the first card

The more you see it, the more incredible a decision it looks. Even in real time, and even if the referee is inclined to give some benefit of the doubt bearing in mind it is the opening game of the season, the sheer force of the collision made it seem inevitable he'd point to the spot.

The Chesterfield player ABSOLUTELY CLATTERED Grant Hall, that's why he was down on the ground for so long...

We definitely got away with that one but what a thunderbastard of an equaliser. Don't mind starting with an away point but we desperately need some creativity in midfield if we're to even contemplate doing anything this season.
