Can Blackburn get their first win? (or clean sheet for that matter!?) Who will sack their manager first!? Who will be bottom come the end of the game? Or is it all just meh? Whilst we have a decent record of late at Leeds and we did put in a much improved performance against QPR at the weekend, we need to do better with the chances we are creating and try to keep on moving towards being more solid at the back. We seem to be doing the latter so hopefully the former can click into action sooner rather than later. That said, I expect this to be a tough game. Not sure we're going to find that elusive win.
Just need that win, the last two performances have been much improved (though I don't know if that's saying much, we were beyond atrocious). Obviously still got it all to do but the last two games at least show there is a functional team in there somewhere.
Not enough cutting edge and a free header for the winner. Got to feel for any Rovers fan who paid £40 on the evening. Going down.
Didn't sound like a great game with two out of form teams. Was a must win for Monk I think. I thought his team selection was good, but the lack of confidence throughout the side shows through.
The way it's shaping up we are on the express train to league 1. Totally useless and abject in every facet of the game. The damage done by Venkys is so deep I doubt it will ever be fully repaired
Delighted to see how we responded after the equaliser. I think we all expected the players' heads to go down or worse, invite Blackburn onto us to get the winner. Pleasantly surprised that we responded in the right way and deserved the win in the end. Blackburn look like a team who will really struggle this season - we could say that they already are doing. Yes, got injured towards the end but otherwise did fine.
