Think the game could've gone either way tonight (pretty much like it did 2 weeks ago). Tonight went for us, 2 weeks ago went for Watford. Some muggins from Watford just rang up our local radio saying Leicester hardly keep clean sheets and we're guaranteed to concede at Watford, although last time I looked we'd kept 14 clean sheets throughout the season against Watford's 11.. Clueless muppet
Wild night was never on the cards, only watching the game. The big ones tomorrow, anyway well done Leicester.
This guy was quoting from the season, not tonight, but yeah he sounded a little too clueless for my liking.
I don't remember rage calling a Leicester radio station, I'm sure i'd remember that even in one of my more 'ranty' episodes.
Disappointing up front tonight - Vydra just isn't the same player since about March. Soft goal to give away although the free kick was good. Feel Leicester will score at the Vic so we need to score 3 at least - need to have Deeney back ofcourse and be more assured in midfield.
Nice to take a goal lead down to Watford but i feel a draw would have been fair. Both sides are capable of better especially Watford but im not so scared of Vydra after tonight. All to play for Sunday WELL DONE LADS!!
Crap game, leicester are shite, couldn't hear fans until they scored, Watford best team out of last 4, will turn it round easily, palace and brighton will have their own little cup final, end of, if watford decide to play football at wembley only one winner.
So we were far from our best but won but were "crap", Watford were also far from their best and lost but they were simply underperforming? How does that work? Neither side played anywhere near their best today. And Perseus, we are dreadful at set-pieces, Pearson's sides are always dreadful at scoring from set pieces, we always have been under him during both his spells and Hull fans im sure will tell you they were as well. Today was a rare goal in that respect. In fact I think that's probably the 2nd goal we've scored from a free-kick all season. Unless I'm missing one, only other one I can remember was Knockaert scoring one against Burgon fecking Albion in the League Cup.
I thought it was a decent game to be honest. Both sides created chances but looked very nervy in front of goal (as you'd expect). Think Leicester needed that goal though with Deeney back for the 2nd leg, they probably deserved it too.
A rag tag performance and still won 1-0. We can paly far better than that like we did at Forest saturday.
Would of took 1-0 before the game so happy with the result. Not the best performance though, but a win is a win.The first 20 mins we looked bright and played some good stuff, then it just got scrappy, and both teams looked nervous.Second half we were awful,to many aimless long balls up to nobody, wit was hard to watch at times. Our goal came against the run of play really, but i will take it,and a clean sheet blimey! To many players had a bad game last night knockaert was crap tries to many flicks for my liking, and lost the ball to much.Matty james was my man of the match played really well,he as really come good.
