O'Shite and AJ will play heavily on the minds of both teams in this game:slap:

So therefor I predict a very cagey affair -can only see a low score draw:eeek

We've shat on you numerous times in the last decade. Invariably the result of us being the better team.

Baptista was awful again and Hleb wasn't exactly brilliant either. Adebayor brought something to the team, but for the rest of the season with RVP and Henry, we will be seriously lacking in the goals department.

Punished by Crouch. Nice to see our mid-season not-conceding-from-every-set-piece phase was just a blip.

While it is indeed embarrassing to concede 3 goals against Peter Crouch, I can't help but feel pleased for the guy really. Seems a genuinely nice bloke who is made out to be some sort of laughing stock just because he's a bit tall.

His 3rd goal shows there's a lot more about him than just a mean header of the ball, in fact I think the two headed goals were awful from our point of view, hopefully it will knock it into our lads. But I won't hold my breath.

Ritchie and Kop will vouch for that I expect :cool2:

Seriously from what I saw we looked totally flat today, ooverrun in midfield in a game we needed Gilberto in big time. When Toure gets done by Crouchy for a near post ball then the day's gonna be a long one. As for Baptista, the season can't end soon enough for him.

Hmmm what is there to be said? very disappointing first half and a slightly better yet still dreadful second. We did them 3 times this season, and they got one back , good for them, bad for our confidence. Why is it that we cant get over disppointments easily, when we lost to man u and ended our unbeaten run, we didnt recover for like ... never!! we still suffer from that, we never quite came back to our full force. Still, I believe and i will not think otherwise, that we will get the third spot this season, its just its going to take more from us now, plus we still have a game in hand.

    You up at Anfield today?

It was the number of anonymous players that worried me, Hleb nothing, Baptista nothing, Eboue nothing...

Baptista scores his one chance instead of skewing it horribly and maybe we get some sort of a result. But there was that horrible sense of just not thinking we had a prayer of scoring iif it wasn't bundled over the line.
