Bloody shambles of a performance. Don't like to single out one player after a defeat like this as a number of players were absolute garbage but Baptista needs immediate benching. I don't know if he's regarding his time here as some kind of one-season jolly where he doesn't REALLY have to make a concerted effort but if it is he can f*ck right off. He was utterly abysmal today for the umpteenth time in succession - no control, no pace, non-existent shooting, clueless link-up play - and brings nothing to the team. To get spanked 4-1 is bad enough but to go out go gutlessly and ineptly simply isn't acceptable.

It was both, Liverpool played very well and we played very shit.

We should never be losing 4-1 to anyone though, seems to players have gone on holiday early.

Whilst Liverpool play well Arsenal were rubbish. That was the worst Arsenal performance for eight years! The Arsenal players were a complete embarrassement to their fans and the club and should made to donate their wages to charity for the next month and made to do double training all week. That was an utter shambles of a performance and they were a disgrace to the club. After that performance the manager needs to consider whether they have a future here or for that matter whether he has a future here as that performance was totally unacceptabsle.

    Yes Wenger out. :rolleyes

Shit performance yes, but it's not often I see them totally give up. I'm fairly sure there'll be a reaction in our next game.

drop the whole first team.....and play our reserves....at least they have belief and commitment..... :D

nah i just think we need a reshuffle, Fabregas + Denilson should not be playing at the same time, as neither player put much effort into defending....we need Gilberto back, to play alongside one of the two...or if Gilberto is not Available, then possibly push Kolo Toure up into the holding midfield role, as i feel he'd excell there, and place either Senderos or DJ alongside Gallas...

Eboue at the moment is looking a shadow of the player he was last season, i feel he was one of our best performers in the Champions league run to the Final, it must be down to the countless injurys he's suffered this season, all he needs now is a decent injury free run in the team, and im sure he'll be back to his best....

Clichys starting to look a bit slack, almost as if he's not trying as hard, because he's a guarenteed starter, and has no real Competition in that postition, contrasting to previous seasons, when he would play his heart out at every oppertunity to try and Dislodge Ashley Cole from the starting Birth...

Yesterday wasnt one of Hlebs best performances..he lacked sharpness, and lost the ball wayy to easily, he needs to step his game up, and maybe contribute more to the goal scoring...maybe he jus needs shooting lessons..as does BAPTISTA!!

Baptista has shown flashes of brilliance, but ultimatly has shown he cant keep up with the PACE of the Premiership, everything about his game at the moment is terrible...i didnt actually think he played all that well when we beat liverpool 6-3..Aliadiere made all his chances....and Liverpools Defence + Goalkeeper were suspect. the Sooner Bap leaves the better...Is there no chance of recalling Niklas Bendtner? we could definatly do with a skillfull striker such as him at the moment.

anyone know why Rosicky didnt start at Anfield?!?!?

was a shame as i see that as our best back four, they just seemed to have a Mare....personally i blame the lack of productivity upfront, and the lack of power in Midfield.

The talk is getting louder of Bendtner being a big, big player for us next season. Literally and figuratively.

I think someone close to him has to be telling him baptista may not be here, aliadiere surely won't, what better time to use his name-making season this term to crash onto the scene next season.

He has a lot to his game from what I've seen (I should watch Birmingham more) and could be our answer to, erm, Peter Crouch?

Yes they are definatly world class, but i think that some of us are jumping to too many random conclusions too easily. So we had a bad game, or two, you know its ok so what, thing is we need more heart in our next games. Denilson, Fab4, Toure, Clichy, Ade ... are all players that throughout the season we have been hailing their greatness and moments of brilliance, i think they are allowed to have a bad game or two. I mean with Henry, RVP, Bert out we were bound to suffer a little, because we were missing that extra man power that these lads offer when the rest of the team is down and lackluster. In past seasons, or even earlier this season, when we were tied 0-0 with a team or losing 1-0 and performing badly, you had the likes of Henry, Berto, Rosicky lead the way and push back and we always ended up either drawing or winning, that was only a couple of months back! Let Wenger do his job, because the man knows what to do with these situations, and let's hope that when Bert returns we will inspire us to get back to winning ways. As for Baptista, you know its a really random case, and foriegn lads normally take a long while to get into the spirit of the PL, but as someone earlier said, he seems to be playing like this is a one off season for him, i dont think he is taking his game as seriously as he should here, becuase only two seasons ago with seville he was doing great things!
