It'd be nice to have a comfortable win, but if any game demands a late winner, preferably after some Pickford incompetence or a penalty, it's this one. Please.

Everton and Moyes have the tools now and I'm not talking about the fans ,but will their new sense of adventure pushing forward with Moyes team be precisely the football that Kopites are praying they attempt in our yard ?

All this and more will be answered on Saturday and then hopefully then used on Saturday night as a verbal battering ram of bragging rights against those members of your Blue Nose family whose hope the reds have so mercilessly crushed and trampled underfoot.

Anyway ,it's the Derby and we all know all the rules of engagement go out the window when we meet ,I'm hoping they go into this game thinking they're Bournemouth rather than Burnley ,but I suspect it will sadly be the latter.

Moyes will have his team roll over as they always do. 3-0.

    It's Moyes. It's Anfield.

    3-1.

We won't keep a clean sheet.

was going to cite a few results from past seasons but then remembered, and surprised I didn't sooner except I don't fixate on Moyes, his horrendous record at Anfield - "appalling" to quote "Goodison News"

another source states 13 losses in 19 league games at Anfield

then again records are there to be broken, can't count chickens here any more than you can anything

Feels like someone is going to be on the end of an absolute hammering from us sooner or later. Hopefully starts with Everton!

Nah cant see that happening given we've just had a tough game two nights previously.

Can see a scrappy, boring, no atmosphere typical 12.30 kick off. 1-0 win for us. Isak with his first of many. Hate these 12.30 kick off with passion, playing a derby at this time is just an atmosphere killer.

I'd love to give the bitters a hiding but this is what I think. It'll be our 3rd game inside 7 days and Everton's 1st. While we're obviously the better team and are the favourites they've still had a decent start to the season and players like Grealish and Ndiaye and Dewsbury-Hall are clicking and looking dangerous. They was unlucky to have not beat Villa tbh could've easily been on 9 points out 12. If they can add gumption to go with fresh legs and work ethic and the stench of desperation to derail us they'll give us a game and then some. I just hope they don't cripple any of our stars keep it nice and clean.

    Game prediction: 2-1 Liverpool.

    Not looking forward to this.

Moyes always loses the head when he comes to anfield.

Strong team gone for more control in midfield and we have a star studded bench.

Kerkez back in, hope he doesnt lose the plot today, Robertson was never going to play 2 games in a week.

Isak back on the bench, also expected Id say.

Happy with the side. The only concern in Kerkez, but as others have said Robbo can't play two games in a row.
Great options on the bench to bring on.

On a side note, Wirtz won't be pleased with this. Hopefully it lights a fuse in him.

Wouldn't be surprised if one of the teams ends up with 10 men on the pitch. Hopefully we see the f**kwittery Newcastle showed from Everton.
