Huddersfield is closer to Preston too, given his move to Stoke was (allegedly) driven by his need to be closer to his family there. The money will have helped too I’m sure.

I think that came from someone randomly asking skybet to add him on. However, yes please!! It won’t happen tho

Increasingly looking like Jon Dahl Tomasson will be gone ahead of Saturday. All become a tad untenable after the last week (and the rest!). Shame in some ways as he did say the fans shouldn't be in the dark but hasn't changed our style when the chips are down. Let down by the club too though. Can't imagine who comes in.

Don't worry, the Stoke City charity bus is rolling into town on Saturday. Roll up roll up!

I'm old enough I can remember when it was briefly called Playbus . Which actually makes a lot more sense considering the bus is called the Playbus and is a key part of the show. Apparently they had to change it because some tour company called Playbus had already registered the name or something like that. It confused me when I was a kid. Anyway that's my fact of the day. Another one of those, same time tomorrow.

Was hoping he'd stick around for another couple of weeks, you just know you'll have the new manager bounce in time for your game against us on 17th

Not been the best prep this week by any stretch for this game that's important to both teams! Going to be a toss up between your charity and if we can hang tough enough after all the chaos surrounding us at the moment.

Talks ongoing still on the "exit" but obviously for us we want to go into that game semi stable manager wise!

@SamB_SCFC is not wrong. I have read what is going on with you guys this week (which is s**t for you fans by the way) and thought “oh bugger - they play us on Saturday”. Seriously people, lump on a Blackburn win on Saturday (gamble responsibly though!).

Plenty of chatter down here that Eustace is set to be announced over the weekend, just in time for our game on Tuesday :fail:

Tomasson is going to be the new Sweden manager. Is that normal? Surely like a Scot managing England?

Well, certainly going to be an interesting game. Eustace won't be in charge today and hasn't had time on the training field with the team yet so be interesting to see our approach.

Mowbray v Eustace! What are your thoughts on Eustace?

He's ambitious as a manager so maybe see's it as a good move?

West Brom have reportedly offered Ivan Juric, manager of Torino, a ‘super contract’ worth over €2M post tax plus bonuses. This move depends on whether Shilen Patel will buy the club as he intends to make a ‘clean sweep’ when in charge.

No thanks..we better keep Carlos when new owners are announced

Out of nowhere looks like Andre Breitenreiter is coming to Huddersfield , lots of google work needed for this guy, for me anyway.

Yeah same, much prefer these kind of appointments than the shite that was on the latest odds.

May work/may not but he has a good record by the sounds of it.
