Another away match, we'll have 4 at home and 3 away remaining after this game, and suddenly the run-in starts to looks no more difficult than Arsenal's. Unfortunately I have a bad feeling about this game at the Boleyn, West Ham are suddenly looking rejuvenated and United still look pedestrian. A lot depends on who we can get back after injury, but with both Nani and Hernandez putting in shifts away on International duty tiredness could also be a factor. We've done okay in recent League visits to West Ham, but traditionally it's one of our hardest away games. Fingers crossed, if we could take 3 points it would be a huge step towards winning the League. IF . . .
Team should be... VDS Brown Smalling Vidic Evra Nani ~Fletcher ~Carrick ~Park Rooney Berbatov SUBS: Kuszczak, Fabio, Anderson, Valencia, Giggs, Hernandez, Owen
why valencia on the bench??? and it looks like fletchers out, just hope gibson doesnt get anywhere near the bench, rather morrison/pogba given a chance.
I think we can snatch a draw. We certainly have the self belief at the moment and that 4-0 Carling Cup victory will still be fresh in the minds of the players so I'm convinced that we can come away from this fixture with at least a point.
I'd take a point now, but really we need three. I'll settle for another scrawpy 89th minute winner like we got v Bolton.
I'm feeling confident. I reckon we shall put in a good display tomorrow, comfortable enough, 8 points clear, for a few hours at least....
Despite our defensive frailties this is a game we can and should win. I expect a big performance from Antonio Valencia today.
It's a hard one to predict. West Ham have been on good form and recently beat Liverpool 3-1 at home. If West Ham play well and don't give Utd time on the ball then I can see this ending in a draw or maybe even a home win.
We'll be targeting a victory for sure. Our run in isn't easy until the last 3 matches. We need a point from this match as we don't generally fare well against Bolton or Villa. Then followed by Chelsea and Man City so we could end up in trouble if we don't pick up points from the next 3 matches.
