Has been for months. Can't understand the negativity from some on here.

They've been shocking for the majority of the season, not so much at Old Trafford but certainly away from home yet they've ran away with it in truth.
With Chelsea's piss poor effort it's probably the easiest title Fergie's won them.

Arsenal will probably be the better team today and drop points once again.

    Edit*
I've not even watched the majority of this as it was obvious. I said as much in FT so watched the Leeds game instead.
Play shit - pick up points - standard United away from home outcome.

We've not exactly played shit though. We've easily been the better team all game regardless of the half-time score. It's a deserved win

Rooney will get all the plaudits, but IMO Berbatov changed the game today. He was brilliant when he came on -- the ball seemed to be glued to his feet. Hernandez did well too. It's amazing what a good side we can look when not playing negative 4-5-1 bollocks, even with a passenger like Gibson on the field.

Love all the united bumming here saying the league is wrapped up already, there are 9 games to play for us, we have no excuses if we cant beat blackburn today all the big guns are back.

Must admit was a cracking second half performance!

    WOW!!!

Obviously I feel stupid now after what I said at halftime but how many more times is Fergie going to get away with this? Not many teams would have turned that around and West Ham just collapsed as soon as the 1st goal went in.

Rooney wasn't great until his first goal but that was the player we know he can be. Absolutely turned the game on its head with 2 world class goals and a penalty under immense pressure.

Berbatov, Hernandez and Rooney were all immense in that second half. Perhaps we should experiment more with the three of them from the start.

Knew this would happen and I stuck a score on United to win at 8/1 at half time :)

It wasn't just Berbatov. I think the simple act of bringing on Hernandez and letting Rooney drop deep made a huge impact but I agree that Berbatov was brilliant. Carrick is another who played well today.

Baring the odd defensive frailty and the none existent Gibson the team played well.

Some may say the penalty was harsh but it only hastened the inevitable. We'd have scored more than the two regardless of it.

I haven't seen it mentioned yet, but United's penalty was VERY debateable. Well, to put it bluntly, the ref got it wrong (how many times have we heard that this season?)

Haven't seen anything else from the game so can't really comment on whether it 'evened things up', but it's another wrong decision from incompetent referees.

We go 2 nil down, we get a point.
United go 2 nil down, get all 3 points.

    That's the difference.

Great comeback, brightened my mood (and certainly this forum's) after that weird first half.

It's frustrating when players like Anderson and Berba, who barely play anyway, don't get played and Fergie opts to play Gibson, Carrick and Giggs in a 5 man midfield. =/

The momentum was already in our favour and regardless of the penalty we'd have won the game.

Talking about the penalty what was Rooney's little rant about?

That's no justification for it. And the FA and Premier League wonder why refs don't get enough respect....

Like I said, I haven't seen the rest.

I didn't hear what he said and they won't show it on MOTD, so if anyone can find a video of it that'd be great.

Tremendous, we didn't deserve to be 2-0 down at half time, West Ham offered very little and were only ahead because of two silly errors, one of which was arguably outside of the area.

I knew we would get back into it as long as we made the right substitutions, a shame some of our other supporters are clearly lacking that same faith.

The title is all but ours, nobody can stop us now.

He sounded like a 15 year old chav.

Staring into the camera going 'What?! F**king What?!'

    I think.

Lets not act like it wasn't handball. It was. Harsh or not.

It was like he was responding to something. God knows what but I prefer it when he's angry. He's a better player when he's angry. Tw*t or not.
