Can't see anything else but a large York victory.

This York team can’t finish for toffee, walloped Tamworth so far but already skied 3-4 decent chances.

I think we was a better team last season, heard we have pulled out of Conn Clark deal due to Greg Olley been back to fitness.

Great strike 1-0 York after Tamworth fluff a one on one at the other end.

Shots playing a near full strength team against Andover in the Hampshire cup, currently 1-0 down

Anyone else fed up with Dazn not learning from their very basic mistakes? Like tonight's match where they fail to show the replay of the goal and instead just shows a replay of the players celebrating.

Happened with two of our goals at the weekend, how this lot pass as a professional streaming service beggars belief.

Some decent strikes in that lot and you were in full control but Tamworth were absolute dog muck.

So what's the difference between this york team and hinshelwood's? Are york fans back on the title bandwagon again now?

Are you more in agreement of sacking hinshelwood or is it still a sore subject?

Hinshelwood leaving was inevitable from Christmas onwards since he refused the offers of a new contract. Uggla wants total commitment which he wasn't going to get as Hinshelwood did so well and had eyes on moving up, who can blame him. Not on the title bandwagon but the team are playing as if the shackles are off and everything is so much quicker and more fluid now, albeit against 2 poor teams so not really a good gauge. Hinshelwood played a few players out of position whereas Maynard has kept it simpler, playing Felix at right back/wing back again where he is so effective is just a simple move but it helps the team so much. Pearce hasn't got firing yet which will be a real bonus when he does

Plus our midfield is absolutely ridiculous now. We've got Banks, Boateng, Batty, Hunt (check his goals out last night if you haven't seen them) Armstrong and Aguiar can't even get into the squad, and we've not got Greg Olley fit to add to it. Our local reporter was told we aren't in for CCC now but can't even see where he would have fit if we were

Journalist Alan Nixon reported the other day that you'd agreed a loan fee with Peterborough and had agreed to a percentage of wages.

We've been linked, but I don't know if its 2+2 because he was at our game last week. But like you I don't know where he'd fit in here. We have Elliot Embleton who is on big money and a long contract + Stephen Wearne for that number 10 position.

I think what's happened is we've put a bid in for him, then their owner has made that public to alert others to start a bidding war and I guess York have shown an interest in him out of that, but probably aren't wanting to pay whatever ridiculous fee Peterborough are wanting so it's gone cold.

York must have realised they don't need him and we probably don't really need him either even though we'd still have him, but not for a stupid asking price.
