Rightly so. We've downed tools in a way I didn't think was even imaginable. Few who have come into the side playing for a new deal/futures have really let themselves and the club down. Saying that I will probably be backing Gateshead at 13/10 Will be a very low away following with it being shifted at short notice, foul weather, awful away end, nothing to play for, team not arsed etc etc. Missing my first away game since November, not a chance I was even tempted
Performances have been so bad haven’t they. York and Kiddy I could almost accept as a bit of a hangover but Saturdays performance genuinely bothered me. Won the league? yes. great season? Yes. Want to go out on a whimper? No. Want to let down paying fans for the last 5 games of the season? No. Hope we go out and show what we are about tonight and Saturday.
I'm expecting more of the same sadly. Whether they've lost interest in this season or just playing not to get injured, who knows. Was PC there on Saturday? I couldn't see him from where I was sat
New things were bad down there but didn't realise it was getting to the point of having to play a game on a train.
Chesterfield sacking off the season is shocking Handed 3 points to Dorking, York Kiddy and Wealdstone therefore affecting the bottom Now at it against Gateshead and affecting the play off chase
To be fair we've tried today. Probably on the balance of play the better side, with Grigg up front we've got 1 or 2 goals before Gatesheads first. The first pen is a clear pen, Tyrer has to come for it, fast striker gets a foot there first, penno. Second one is just an absolute joke of a decision. Cookie booked for effing and jeffing about it. It's everything that's wrong with refereeing that really, instead of owning up to your **** up or at least having the good grace to keep piped down, you book someone. Soft bollock power mad behaviour.
Chesterfield at least making Gateshead work for the win. The more tired they are for Wednesday, the better in our bid to hold off Southend for 8th
You could say that but you could also say Gateshead now have a home play off quarter in their sights. I didnt know they could get 4th/5th..
Yeah they'll want 4th, i'm just hoping they are exhausted from it being their last of 4 games in 6 days
You can see why people are calling Cook the Scouse John Still on a luxury budget. Ended in a proper whimper. You look at Wrexham and Stockport going on to League one and fighting for better days. Just not going to happen under Cook is it? He can't even be arsed doing the interviews. Surely that changes In the FL?
