Anger at parties uniting together (in a likely weak coalition) to pool their votes together? Making friends and influencing people. It's kind of key in politics. The RN helped unite their opponents and that is their fault for being so utterly polarising.

Was there a huge uproar in 2019 when Reform (then the Brexit party) stood aside to give the Tories a free run?

I am sure they are very happy judging by he numerous videos doing the rounds of RN supporters screaming at the exit poll and looking glum as **** with their champagne in hand.

    Poor guy.

“As we've just reported, the three women killed in a crossbow attack in Bushey, near Watford, are Carol Hunt, the wife of the BBC commentator John Hunt, and two of their daughters.“

To lose 3 members of your family in such circumstances.

    Horrible.

I didn't know this was a thing - several members of the HOL kicked out for non-attendance.

Two children from Liverpool primary school dealing with infection outbreak have died

Millstead is a school in Everton and all the children that attend have learning difficulties ,absolutely heartbreaking for the parents given all they have endured and the uphill battles they've had to fight prior to this. I know their struggles because my lad was born with dyspraxia and Aspergers and we fought tooth and nail to get him statemented ,but I couldnt envisage anything close to the grief those parents are feeling right now.

    RIP Angels

It's cases like this that make me support the death penalty after many years of opposing it he has lost all his rights after murdering 3 members of the same family,if it happened in America he would be executed something that would not bother me.

Anyone who listens to BBC 5 Live regularly, as I do, will be familiar with the voice of John Hunt. He is a broadcaster that I greatly admire and whose work on horse racing and swimming I have enjoyed over many years. It's probably because of that, rightly or wrongly, that the horror I feel at the senseless barbarism of these murders is all the greater. Certainly, anyone who heard Mark Chapman's opening to their football coverage this evening will have struggled not to be moved by it.

The full story of what, if anything, lies behind this hideous incident will no doubt emerge in time. For now, though, it seems appropriate only to say rest in peace Carol, Hannah and Louise Hunt.

A bloke in Sydney, Australia, has been charged with the murder of three of his children and attempted murder of his wife and three other children when he deliberately set fire to the house they were living in. He actually locked the doors to trap the kids before pouring petrol around the house to accelerate the fire. He then blocked emergency services and neighbours from trying to save anyone. Some p[eople..

Father charged with murder locked doors before three children killed in Sydney house fire, police allege

Stoke-on-Trent couple fined £1,200 after clearing up rubbish

A couple who cleared up rubbish on their street and left it in a box for bin collectors have been fined £1,200.

Veronika Mike and Zoltan Pinter, from Stoke-on-Trent, said their road had been blighted with “disgusting” litter for years.

But after Mr Pinter cleaned up some of the rubbish and left it out in a cardboard box, the pair each received £600 fines.

The city council said all fly-tippers would be punished with fixed penalty notices and considered the matter resolved.

Ms Mike, 41, said people would often dump waste around the bins on their street which she claimed would not get collected and would attract animals.

“I’m actually afraid to walk past it in the street because I’ve seen a lot of rats and what looks like stray cats,” she said.

The 2nd crazy story about Stoke council and litter in a short amount of time.

    Another horrific story .

Human remains found in suitcases by Bristol's Clifton Suspension Bridge

A manhunt has been launched after two suitcases containing human remains were found at the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol.

Police were called after a man with a suitcase was seen acting suspiciously on the bridge just before midnight on Wednesday. When officers arrived less than ten minutes later the man had left, leaving the suitcase behind.

A second suitcase was found nearby a short time later.

Avon and Somerset Police said their "immediate priority" was to locate the man and identify the human remains.

Initial inquiries established the man was taken to the bridge in a taxi, the force said.

The taxi driver's vehicle has been seized and the driver is helping officers.

To be honest the box they've supposedly left with collected litter in it looks just like it's been fly-tipped, and there's no way they can have 'cleaned up' the area and only gathered such a paltry amount of litter. It's galling that the council can allow places to become absolute shit-tips though and of course there's no way to fine them for their own mismanagement. :shrug
