    We might wash our face?

In the end what would the options be at cm?

This new lad if he arrives, macallister and then jones and gravenberch with bajcetic as the youth option?

Endo might be increasingly out of place and thats real hard on him but what can happen when a new manager comes in.

Claims Zubimendi has given the go ahead to Liverpool.

    Fair ****s to them.

Yeah apparently we are trying to structure a deal so we pay more than the release clause but less up front. **** knows how we are skint we've not spent anything lol

€60m up front is a lot of literal cash. The deal can still be amortised but it’s got to be literally paid in one go.

It’s completely sensible for Liverpool to try and work on something different to avoid that scenario.

Given the noise it seems if the player wants the move then Sociedad will probably be more willing to work a deal out.

Good if it happens but given the Spanish connection with Arteta, I'm surprised he's not more interested in Arsenal. Plus you then have the London thing.

Would be a great addition for us.

He wants to follow his idol Xabi Alonso not the Aldi version.

Zubimendi has been my number 1 option for DM but word was always that he wanted to stay in Spain. Seemed like a likely Arsenal signing if he moved to England. Anyway... This would be a Fabinho level signing for me. As in similar expectations at the time we signed him. We couldn't have predicted that legendary level of impact, and it would be silly to do that here, but very exciting. Will really help Slot's style of football take effect, as he wants to play through teams more than we did under Klopp.
We're not skint, all clubs try and spread out release clauses (and every transfer fee) if they can. If you paid all fees up front you'd be running into PSR issues rapid. Unfortunately Leipzig wouldn't budge so LFC had to pay full whack up front for Szobo but you can usually pay a few mil on top to spread the fee.

No idea how good either source is, but if both are true then I reckon it’s been our best transfer windows in years. The Hummels rumour would just be the icing on the cake.

    Verbruggen
Kadioglu - Dunk - Van Hecke - Barco
    Weiffer- Baleba
    Minteh- O’Riley - Mitoma
    Pedro

Steele, Estupinian, Hinshelwood, Veltman, Webster, Gomez, Gilmour, Enciso, Sarmiento, Cottonbud-Dangler, March, Welbeck, Ferguson.

Diaz is in form of his life (for colombia) and of course then there's nunez who nobody can figure out, then there's Elliott pushing szobo.

But most of all quansah v konate.

It will be interesting to see who gets the nod and if slot picks on form and training or an favourites (klopp was said to do both by various people depending on their rant at the tien)

If we manage to keep gilmour and bring hummels in on top, it will feel like we finally have squad depth that could cope with playing in Europe.

Shame it's a season too late

That said getting both Kadioglu and O'Riley would be very impressive and I wouldn't be surprised to miss out on at least one of them

Everyone seems to have a different nickname for him at the moment. I prefer calling him Cozy-Berryboy.

I don't know much about O'Riley, but Weiffer and Kadioglu are quality players. And of course, Hummels would be insane, he's old but had a great season.
