Nah I always thought the room was there to go really big on one. You were ready to go for Bellingham and bid £110m for Caicedo so I think it’s fair to assume Liverpool could always do one. But two in one summer? Even Man City don’t do two ‘big’ ones in one window!

I don't think Isak goes anywhere if Newcastle are in the CL next season and that won't be clear until tomorrow. We haven't really signed anyone for two years so we've got a decent budget this summer, plenty of PSR wiggle room, and will raise a decent wedge in sales.
With all the talk of "pure profit" from selling home grown players people seem to ignore that if you sell a player after 2 or 3 years and make your cash back you've already written down a large portion so it will appear as a big.profit. If we make 50 back off nunez (doing well) we will be well in the black in psr terms. In real terms fsg don't like losing money. If we make 60 off Diaz then is a big profit. If we make more I'd be amazed i forgot aboit doak, Anyone who pays 25mil gets him. We would love a bidding war though
