It looks like moving away fans to the main stand paddock only lasted a season and a bit, all seat fans at Boundary Park will now be housed in the top tier of the Chaddy End. York will only be allocated the top tier on Boxing Day, so that's 1700, as we believe giving away fans the whole stand will work against our chances of winning.
I know Oldham limited away capacity last season for us and Chesterfield but thought this was a police advice thing. We're probably only good for 1600- 2200 at Oldham epending on form anyway. Never seem to take as many there as we did to Bury. York are a weird one as I never remember them bringing more than about 750 to us but their home crowds have bumped up a a lot in recent years and they took a shed load to Halifax. Seems odd for the Oldham to voluntarily reduce their income but their call. A bit sad to reduce the away end to improve the chance of winning though! Got a decent enough home crowd to encourage things.
1050 Wycombe fans at the Vale in record crowd at the ground of 3,534. Stewards useless again in the away end as they got a drum in .
It really isn’t as we had a long-distance away match in midweek as well and the trains were absolutely messed up today.
Agreeing with a Barnet fan, good god. No trains back absolutely knackers Southern away followings, hence why we had 33 at Pools in August. That, and no coach so those down south like me had to get their own way up. No trains, no coach - enjoy a 4-5 hour drive home.
The trains were better last year and we had 4 times as many at Pools. Oldham this season is going to be poor too. None of my group are going. Train prices very high and no coach going.
