I get there's the novelty factor, but that's an outstanding following. Boston's followings have been really impressive since being back in the league.
Saw this elsewhere. Poor fans - although they probably wish the bus had kept going wrong . “Spare a thought for the Spennymoor Town fans who were heading to Telford today in the Conference North. Their coach was approaching Milton Keynes when a fan approached the driver to say that Telford was the opposite way. The driver was heading to Oxford City by mistake who Spennymoor played last week. Hence a very hasty turn around to get back on track where the fans just made it in time for kick off Telford won 3-0”
Agree. It's a nice change from the usual NLN visits we got so bored with (as well as the new ground bringing in families who are starting to go to some away games) It'll soon drop if the eastleigh and truro performances are going to be the norm. Truro will receive quite a lot of away fans for sheer novelty factor this year. It's more than we took to eastleigh which is half as far and more than we'll take to several other places on a Saturday
At least they turned up at that one. We had to call one off against them as their team bus broke down and they refused our offer to pick them up, potentially as they were short on numbers They won the rearranged fixture too
Expecting a very poor turnout of Stones at Scunny next weekend. None of mine or my son’s crew are going. Last time we had two coaches , none going this year .
Cheap but not madly, think it's in the 35 quid give or take depending on distance, with a three quid discount for supporter's club members. They also do a season away travel thing that works out 26 quid a trip.
Yes there's the supporters association ones for £15 members (truro was 40 though). An independent coach runs to most games too and gets in early although it's £25 (truro was £200 but it included 2 nights accommodation too). The 2nd option proving popular since it became a regular thing 2-3 seasons back
Only 100 away tickets left. Unbelievable support for a Tuesday night. They'll sell all 1,025 by tomorrow morning.
Not particularly. We just have a very decent away support, took well over 400 to Solihull this season too.
It's certainly improved from my regular travelling years when I last lived back home, been impressed. Wish the home attendances would show the same trend.
We have a very good away support for our size of club in terms of numbers and noise. It usually Surprises me how many we take. You saying it was tosh at Wealdstone, why is that? We took over 300 to York too.
