Will give a few Carlisle fans some credit today, clubs come up with a statement to explain the away fans situation due to a a backlash from a few of how we have treated especially Truro fans but in general a sortve against shoving away fans in uncovered terrace

no ex league club arrogant approach just some frustration at how we treated away fans regardless of the numbers……not changing owt your all in that side from now on but nice to see

 

Tbf I get putting away fans in the shittest stand with the worst atmosphere. At Dale weve done the opposite and give the best view and best atmosphere generating stand over.
I'm due a soaking on an open terrace. Somehow avoided it in god knows how many matches. Cue a monsoon in Carlisle in September.

Windscreen Trophy area final? I was a bit young to have gone to it. My dad was there though. Almost 'legendary' game for some Dale fans. Winning the toss and kicking into the wind all half. Bright idea.

How do they manage to keep the lights on let alone put out a relatively competitive side each season?

 

Have Gateshead ever looked at getting a stadium of their own? I feel a 5k stadium for them would be so much better

 

Yes they tried a few years ago when they were heavily bankrolled but it fell through . I can't remember the exact reason it didn't go ahead.
