I just don't win betting. So I don't do any big bets and only bet really in shop now if I have spare change lying around. Would be nice to win and be able to be "good" at betting but no-one is really.
Did any of you ever watch ‘how to beat the bookies’ it was on bbc. Had one of the guys off soccer am going around the country and talking to professional punters. Was a really good watch. The biggest hitter on it bet on tennis, he was court sider so he was beating the clock. Type in YouTube if any of you are interested
I started off with accas and used to win more than I lost and some had good value away odds in them too. Then the time I decided to go big and put that £1200 was a stone cold banker at 4/11 that would've only won me just over £400 profit back but it was the early Saturday kick off and i'd planned an all day bender after it with the winnings. Instead I went home and cried my eyes out.
I've got a few addictions but with betting can turn it on and off, don't ever feel I need to chase losses. Bet what your bankroll can afford and you won't be that disappointed. It's frustrating as any profits are just a question of grinding but that's probably the best way. A few years ago i stuck 30 in a Coral account and was allowing bets up to a 3 or 4 quid a week and no more than that. Now i've got 475 across a few accounts. Got a couple of big wins so it accumulates, you only win occasionally so it's all about not going in too hard and too rash, just make sensible picks and they'll come in every now and again
I didn’t have to top up my account for 2/3 years and took maybe 500 out over that period. Rhys Browne to score 1st goal anytime was ridiculous odds when he was with us, very profitable.
Won 61 quid on the following tonight, off a fiver. Daggers double chance and over 2.5 York v Barnet BTTS Oldham double chance over 1.5 Forest Green and over 2.5
Ebbsfleet screwed me last night. Had oldham both teams to score and fg to keep a clean sheet. Was coming in until that ebbsfleet goal. Knew i should have cashed out for 53 quid. Potential winnings were 71.
Can be a dangerous game the clean sheets and win to nil, especially at this level where defences are prone to fcuk ups or players start blowing later in games. There's a reason the NL is one of the higher scoring leagues around. Got another fiver on this tonight: Aldershot, Sutton, Pools BTTS and Solihull double and over 1.5 Only 40 quid returns this time
Got another £100 off a £20 double on wealdstone and solihull last time out, taking me to around 800 for the season. I dont work out profit and loss, although id imagine with lost bets included im about 600 up since august Got another 5 game accy on this weekend.
What have you got on? I've not had much luck with NL games this season, constantly shafted by red cards or weird results. Done much better in international and European games though that has balanced out the NL losses
Its not skill. Pure luck on my part. First bet of the season came in for around 400 quid so its enabled me to stick £20 on every bet since
So my 5 game accy had 2 games postponed, so became a 3 game bet worth a total of £85 potentially. Lost the oldham and fylde games. So basically York Barnet Forest green All to win An hr in and york and barnet are winning comfortably while forest green are seemingly hanging on at 1-0 according to the in play indicator, so cashed out for £57. Sure enough southend score and its a decent enough return although not a patch on the £400+ that was initially on the cards
