My thoughts exactly. Let it calm down. Nearer the time, people can't actually go. Mate did the same for Foo Fighters. Got standing for 70 quid.
Somebody I know paid £330 for 4 tickets to see them The gov really needs to ban dynamic pricing it's really disgusting, Live Nation/Ticketmaster are really scummy businesses and I hope the anti trust going on in America to break them up goes through.
Paid €500 for a ticket last year. Prices really are a piss take now. Japan has the best concert ticket process imo. Went to a gig there a few years ago and all tickets are standard price. You apply and it's random lottery for everyone. It's not perfect but it stops scummy, predatory behavior.
Woke up on Sat morning and totally forgot about it until my mate reminded me at 8.45am. Logged on to all three sites and got in the queues knowing full well I'd get nowhere near buying tickets. Just wanted to feel part of it TBH Gave up at 10am. Massive Oasis fan me.
Add to that the inevitability of extra dates being announced. I can't imagine the collective ego of the brothers Gallagher passing up the chance to do more nights at Wembley than Taylor Swift, for example.
The Gallagher who was actually a musical genius (msn.com) Was lucky enough to see Rory live, many years ago, bet the ticket was only a few quid as well
Australian gigs confirmed for next year. I've registered for tickets to both Melbourne and Sydney for my son who is keen to see them (he's young, he'll learn). Apparently there will be no dynamic pricing for these gigs so should be the price as advertised before Ticketmaster get their greedy teeth into it.
Tickets for both Melbourne and Sydney next year are in the boy’s Apple wallet, or will be when they’re created. He’s pumped, bless him, he’s way too young to remember them when they were in their heyday but he’s a massive fan so it’s got to be done.
