Lost the last 4 in a row. Coming out with words like "some fans have their own agendas" after the game today (hmm heard that one before) and Barnsley had the wind with them in one half, pardon? Wonder how much longer he'll be around? Knowing our lot, certainly past the January transfer window. Not like anyone sensible would be appointed anyway

Just another Venky stooge happy to stroll along and pick up a pay cheque every week. He'll be here as long as he wants it until he resigns. I honestly think we are now being run into the ground out of spite for the fans. Totally disgusting.

The man is useless and now has the audacity and bare cheek to try and move the attention and criticism onto our 'Agenda' fans....truly disgusting comments.

The bloke is a cretin who belongs back in the lower leagues of American Soccer. :angryfire

If that truly is one of his comments about the first half then that is embarrassing!

Probably bullish!t but rumours saying that he's been sacked and will be announced tomorrow. Most likely just another false dawn though.

I saw Blackburn fans throwing debris at the players as they were going back down the tunnel after fulltime... Surely that's a little over the top? Sounds to me like the manager is the problem, not the players.

Wigan fans booed their players ON to the pitch at the start of the 2nd half today. Never seen that happen before in 45ish years of going to matches.

They should look up 'support' in the dictionary.

I didn't see that at all where I was. Frustration majorly boiled over though I will admit. Although totally unnacceptable if true. I doubt it happened as seen videos of the fans near to the tunnel and didn't see anything being thrown on that either.

I don't think that has ever happened at Rovers, even in the dreadful years of Venky ownership.

I reckon a decent manager could just about keep us up as the squad isn't that bad. It was an astoundingly poor appointment in the first place and was only going to go one way. His Burnley connections don't even come into the equation, he's just a poor manager. Trouble is that there's very little structure within the club to allow for decisions to be made and there's not one person who I'd trust to make a sensible appointment (as if we could actually attract a decent manager).

One day we'll have our club back, but I dread to think what will be left of it when the time comes.

"The conditions weren't great, Barnsley had the wind in the first half, but there is no pressure on the ball for their goal and the boy has put his header in the corner."

From: Owen Coyle was left to bemoan poor finishing as Rovers went down 2-0 to Barnsley at Oakwell.

If anything was thrown that's out of order. Don't know if that's true or not.

I think a decent manager could get something out of the squad, small though it is. We're not brilliant no but I think someone could get them up the table a little bit higher than it currently is.

@Steve1956 never expected it to be  still it's the season for Pantomimes so sit back, relax and enjoy the show.

Makes me wish I video'd it or something, could definitely see some objects flying out of the away end as the Blackburn players made their way back through the tunnel.

I suppose I have no proof though so it may as well have not happened.

Going back to the game, honestly feel like Blackburn were actually a decent side... If not for some incredible saves by Davies we could be discussing a different game here. It was one of those "we took our chances, they didn't" sort of games really from where I was sat. (Having said that, the amount of times we messed up when we were clean through on goal was unreal!)

Tbh on paper the Blackburn squad doesn't look very good and it's a very unbalanced squad of players.
They have a lot of loans (Graham, Gallagher).
Players past their best (Brown, Greer)
Average championship players who haven't really done much in the league ( Lowe, Akpan).

I mean I could be completely wrong and the squad might be better than what I'm saying but it does seem a unbalanced squad from the outside looking in.

It's the worst squad we've had by far since the 70's. But at least they gave a sh!t back then. It's a scrapyard squad assembled from academy players, journeymen, freebies and loans. A few decent players in there but definitely swamped by the crap elsewhere. It's that bad at the minute that some are hoping for relegation in order to shake the club up. At the end of the day we need Venky's out by hook or crook. Everything else is a sideshow or distraction from the main issue.

You can tell that the end is near for any football manager if he starts blaming the fans and the weather to cover up his diabolical tactics and results on the pitch.
