Yeah - saw an article the other day about how it still wasn't available here. First I'd heard of it, but it sounds like a glorious concept for anyone who played Pokemon back in the day.
There's two methods I know of that allows you to get it over here. One is to set up an Aussie or American Apple ID and go through that way, the other is following a link that let me get it.
I posted this previously in the "What are you currently playing?" thread. Android link: Pokémon GO APK 0.29.0 Download, the best real world adventure game for Android I believe the only way around on iOS is to register an Apple account in US/Aus/NZ. My flat is full of ****ing Drowzee. It's bizarre. Level 10 currently.
The link dan is on about works so no need to set up other apple accounts. I don't give a toss who says i'm sad but i'm loving this game. Bit of nostalgia from my childhood and it's very addictive!!
**** them. I'm 27 and played Pokémon Blue and Red when I was 10 years old. The biggest target audience is likely to be people in the 20+ age group anyway, based on ability to travel, nostalgia and the social aspect. I just hit level 11 when I got to work, only to find out all of the gyms I took on Friday have been re-taken by Team Mystic. Blue filth.
Level 4 only started last night. Do the Pokemon learn new moves as you level them up? Or do they just keep the two they start with?
The amount of hours I put into Pokemon as a kid. I'm holding out for the official release here and hopefully then it will run a bit smoother as some are having issues. Feel like a kid again waiting for this.
They only have 2 moves. You have the standard regular attack, and the attack that charges up as you use your regular attack. They often change when Pokémon evolve. However, it remains at 2 total per Pokémon.
