With the absence of Blackpool and Burnley, this is each club's main game this season I suppose. Blackburn have improved after a really poor start, while we're playing reasonably well but perhaps not getting the points return we deserve in recent games. McGeady will probably miss this which is a blow, while our bench will be two strikers light because of those idiots on Saturday picking up 3 match bans. Welsh and Gallagher also remain out due to injury, which is a shame because Gally bossed it at Ewood Park last year.
Who the hell picked this for live TV coverage? Anyway I think the writing is on the wall for this game, especially due to Coyle's bizarre nomination for manager of the month. I think this can only end one way unfortunately. Shouldn't be too much trouble around the ground as not a serious rivalry. Both clubs have their much bigger respective derby's.
All day drinking could result in a bit of bother in town I imagine but that could be said for any 5.30 kick off.
I don't think there's too many of our lot coming over so it should be ok, maybe 2500-3000 at best. Big improvement needed from last weekend, we were played off the park by Huddersfield and were fortunate to take a point.
We need to pick our performance up from last week and look to get some kind of result in this game. Won't be easy but is what we need to do.
Very unlucky in the end. Had the better of the final 10 mins of the first 45 and the majority of the 2nd half. Need to tighten up the defence quickly though, with playing the top 3 in the next 5 games. Move on quickly.
Typical Rovers and the reason we are up to our eyeballs in the brown stuff. Our travelling fans deserved much better. We bumble on....
Don't know what game you were watching mate but we didn't deserve to lose that game. Not a chance in hell, though I suppose that's why we all love football!
For all your second half possession I thought you struggled to do anything with it and we only conceded to a deflected shot. I thought we were well worth the points.
